  It's more about the GM for overlooking character concerns and drafting these guys. Typically the lions have avoided these types of players since drafting Reggie Rogers in 1987, who later killed 3 teens, in a drunk driving accident.

  One interesting thing I read about Fairly's drug arrest. He was pulled over and the cop noticed two smoked joints in the car. Fairly's passenger said they were his, and Fairly willingly took a drug test the next day.
