I  don't like it, Smitty.  DMac is too mucho of an injury risk for my liking to upgrade from ABradshaw to Jennings.  I'd look for another angle.  Maybe Bradshaw for A.Brown type of thing?

Adding Dalton is a bit of deal breaker in my mind.  Can you get him to throw in Decker?  Seems like a lot to ask for, but the guy does have both D.Thomas and Decker, so he might be willing to move one.  Either that, or have him throw in an IDP.

That's what I'm thinking as well. Just thought I'd share the offer... Not a bad one, but I'd rather have player "x" and McCoy over McFadden and Jennings... I have tried to trade Bradshaw/Dalton for one solid WR (tried for A. Brown actually, great minds think alike)... No go so far, but it's only June!

I must be in the minority here you talking about acquiring a top 5 rb and a top 5 wr. Bradshaw may have a year left they selected Wilson for a reason. McCoy is great but McFadden can come real close to him

I love McFadden, I do... but McCoy is an entire tier above him and arguably the No. 1 overall pick in PPR formats. Arguably.

I was on the fence earlier today, but as I said, I'm looking at it like this... Bradshaw I can't use, so I'm trading him. So if I can use him and Dalton, or him and a future 2013 2nd rounder, etc, and acquire an Antonio Brown, what looks better?

    McCoy and Brown
    or
    McFadden and Jennings

I like the first, but it's still close, I think McFadden can be that good. He could also be play 10 games. He is a high risk/high reward guy, though. At the bottom of the first round, I take him every time. When I'm holding McCoy, it's tough considering trading out of McCoy and into McFadden. Again, I struggled with this one for a bit before really just settling on the fact i was going to go try and get an Antonio Brown type... maybe i circle back.

I hear ya but Jennings is at least 2 tiers above Brown. That is a nasty combo McFadden and Jennings

I agree. Or, at least 1 full tier above him. I've inquired about doing just Bradshaw or just Dalton with McCoy, but I think I'll pass on the 3 for 2 -- for now, at least. I still like the deal a lot, here are the two rosters:

    If I trade:
Brees, McFadden, Forte, Jennings, Marshall, White, Gates (IDP players not involved)

    If I don't trade:
Brees, McCoy, Forte, Marshall, White, Amendola, Gates (IDP players not involved)

I have to say, writing it out, McFadden feels worth the risk if I can make it a 2 for 2. I'll circle back to the 2-for-2 idea, ill keep you posted.

Jennings was 18th in scoring among WRs....ABrown was 14pts behind at 23.  I know Jennings missed some time (he was 11WR in PPG to ABrown's 29WR, but they were still only 4pts apart per game...).

Add to that fact that Brown didn't really become relevant until Week 7, and the numbers get much closer still.  AB averaged 15.6ppg (#12 overall for WRs) from Week 7 on...Jennings just 14.8.  He did have a 4pt game when he was injured, so removing that game and averaging the other six gets you up to 16.65 for Jennings....one point more than AB.

I'd much rather target a guy with upside and almost as much value (plus younger, a disgruntled "WR1" lined up across the way) than an older WR stud and KEEP McCoy and avoid the McFadden concerns (I've owned him...you feel like he could go down at a moment's notice...it's just the risk with that guy).

    My $0.02.

I'm with GlassJoe, I think there are cheaper options out there, that can put up close to what Jennings does.

His name is Antonio MotherEf'n Brown!!

    8^)

Okay...little mancrush thing.  Sorry.  Felt the same way about Wallace at one time....maybe I just love the WR2 in Pitt.  Weird.

What about Bradshaw for a Titus Young or Torrey Smith?  Both those owners could probably use a little RB help.

Tav could use a young QB like Dalton.

I'd also go back to the guy in this recent deal you mentioned and see if a Dalton + pick for Decker deal can get done.

I'd try for Torrey...good idea, T$.  I don't think it gets done, but worth a shot.  Decker is a nice substitute for DThomas.  I love DT in Denver this year, but Decker is flying under the radar (mine included...I have him in zero leagues).  Austin Collie, anyone?
