We have made it crystal clear for months and months now that we smell Bust when it comes to Eddie Lacy.

Below you will find our most recent DraftCalc Fantasy Football Radio segment, which talks about Lacy’s bust potential. We also touch on Johnathan Franklin’s sleeper value; Green Bay grabbed both runners in the recent 2013 NFL Draft, selecting Lacy with the 29th overall pick and Franklin with the 125th overall pick.

Check out the segment below!

Smitty our commissioner in my league is already feeling out guys in my league on who will be the #1 pick. He saying it going to be Lacy . As we know that should not be the case as you have stated in your pod cast. But the problem is that now guys in our league don’t think and start telling him about his injuries which is not good. He has now open the door for them to teach him who to focus on drafting now. The way I see it if he wants to believe Lacy is the guy to go for in the draft then let him. Don’t spoil your chance in getting a better player so it should be mums the word in your league with this info.
    Knowledge is power.

lucky or unlucky however you look at it, I’m in a namesake league which is whoever your first round pick was during the very first season, which would be last year, you own the right to the offensive players drafted by that team. and since Aaron Rogers was my 1st round pick i own Lacy and Franklin, and i think even 2 WRs that they drafted. I’m kinda tempted to put Lacy out on the waiver wire and see what kind of bites i get

Keep Franklin, though. And, certainly don’t sell him cheap, most will pay a lot. In fact, he is the 1.01 or 1.02 to most, so go after Bell or Ball now straight up for him. Give Franklin if you have to if you’re getting one of those running backs! Do it now before more Lacy doubt spreads. Check back with us!

update Bell will be available during the rookie/FA draft since none of the owners have the rights to the Steelers picks. Trade Ball for Lacy and draft Bell??

If you’re talking a 10th pick in a rookie draft only, no. I think he goes well before that, but you never know, so much depends on your league mates.

If you mean 10th pick overall in a startup draft, with veterans and rookies, you don’t want to take him at 10. That’s way too high! Not because he can’t earn that, but where is the upside there, taking him near his “ceiling” value, meaning if he falters at all, or takes longer than expected to rise, you’re left disappointed. Again, not sure you meant 10 overall in a startup, but wanted to point that out in case you did mean that. Bell and Ball should both fall well into at leas the third round, maybe fourth, in most start ups, which is great news, and it makes our BOLD predictions on them fall in line with sleeper values.

You mean trade Lacy in for Ball? Yes. And, draft Bell on top of that. That’s a YES x 10. Nice work!

Our draft is at the 1.08. Do you like the following offer?

Percy Harvin, Lamar Miller, TY Hilton, 2013#1.08, 2014 1st for
    AP & Denario Alexander?

I noticed your #5 overall rookie ranking of Zac Stacy, Smitty.

It’s my turn to pick (1.10) in our email draft (no time clock, to allow for trading picks). 1-9 is Lacy, Bernard, Austin, Eifert, Hopkins, Bell, Ball & Franklin.

Rosters must be cut to 26 on Sept 1:
    QB-luck bradford
RB-ap trent wilson abrown mendy dwyer drich pead dharris
WR-dez wallace rice denario mfloyd hnkrson brazil doss
    TE-vdavis housler dwalker tthompson jcasey

Since he’s your #5 rookie, do you suggest I take Stacy now, or should I take Allen or Hunter (I like both), or maybe even Lattimore? I don’t imagine Stacy will be there at 2.10 (?). What does “the master” think?

I may take Lattimore because your RBs are so strong you can wait. Lattimore has more ceiling, it just could take a lot longer to see it.
