i feel like his value will never be higher, but also feel he is a ticking time bomb for an injury or something, which is why i wanna get rid of him.  is he really awesome and i should keep him?

He is the toughest player to value in dynasty, so nobody is going to overpay except the 7-1 team who loses his starting rb to ACL tear week 8. I would not give him away cheap. If Moreno is on your team right now in dynasty, you paid NOTHING to own him (I picked him up in the 5th of two DEEP rookie/FA league drafts). This means you can afford to ride him until he gets injured or fails.

At some point, someone will give you a top player or rookie pick for him. A package like vereen and a first or jordy and a second could fly your way. You never know.

I will say, Moreno isn't much older than Spiller, and Is playing like a man possessed right now with Manning. As long as Manning plays, Moreno will score like a top 10 rb.

I agree with this. If I had Moreno and was NOT a contender, I would sell now. His value is at it's peak.

There has been some confusion with Moreno's contract status among the FF community. If you look at the date he signed his deal and the length of the contract, it makes it look like he is a FA after this season. That isn't true as far as I know. Reading his contract details it shows he is under contract through the 2014 season for 1.something million. DEN then has a 2015 option for a little over 5mil. My guess is that Moreno has a low RB2 floor through next season depending on how much Ball gets involved. His long term value is a lot murkier for me, and that's why I wouldn't pay big prices for him. If I needed a RB Id glady give a prospect WR+1st for him. However, I'm not moving a top 25 player for him.

Its week 7 and he leads the league in rushing TDs... Insane.
