Elite players involved - please advise me before I trade Ray Rice away

Trade offered by me - started out as Andre Johnson and my 2014 1st, 3rd, 4th for Dez

deep into discussions and been countered several times already:

Ray Rice, Bernard Peirce, Andre Johnson for Trent Richardson, Dez Bryant, 2014 st (should be very early, he is 1-6)

This is a big trade, please share your thoughts

As much as i love Dez I think you have to hold onto Rice. You dont you will b screwed next year.

Who are the top free agents available? I may do that, trading for Trent is gutsy but dez is the best player by far and the high pick will more value then Andre next year.

I'm all over that trade.... T Rich hasn't been lighting it up, but neither has Rice thusfar.... You get younger and better in the Johnson to Dez portion of the trade, at the very least you get younger with T Rich over Rice, AND you get a 1st round pick?

I actually really like that deal for you. If TRich can get it together, this move is huge upgrade for you.

I have TR higher than Rice in dynasty anyway even with him underperforming so this is a no brainer accept to me.

Way i see it Rice still has a lot better chance of producing top tier type numbers (this year def next) then rolling out Forte and Miller and expect to compete. Forte hasn't ever been the man of steel I just dont think he has the rb depth. I'm putting more emphases on him still in the playoffs hunt. He has great talented and young recievers already. Heck the way it looks now DeAndre Hopkins is probably just going to slide right in and take over Andre Johnson place anyways. Why lose a top tier talent when u have stud wr's in place that will turn it around as soon as weeks from now let alone next.

Why would he roll out Forte and Miller?? He's getting Trich in the trade..

I would want the Dez side..

Again, I'm thinking this season and not down the road. Rice can turn it around. He has had 4 bad games 2 of which against better run defenses. T Rich is a joke and he is being exposed week after week.

i really like this deal...as is...trent eases the loss of rice and more then makes up for the upgrade to dez from andre...me like

I would take that all day. Trent still has a future in this league at minimum of RB2 value in the future, Add in a top 3 wr and high draft pick and this to me is a no brainer. If you wanted you could easily flip that first for a rb now or combine it with trent for another rb. The first makes it very easy to cash in now if you want to go the win now route

I would probably do that trade if I were you as well. Both TRich and Rice are buy lows (if you believe in them). I like Dez and the pick a lot.

I really like the comments os far - most of which I've thought of and had the same arguements in my head... I'm so on the fence. With no Free agents allowed, this league can have some weird results as injuries happen.

I've lead the league in scoring for 4 of the past 5 years (just traded Brees away this season) to get back some depth, as I have traded away depth and picks for top studs in recent years (Rice, Cam, AJG mostly).

I see this deal as a chance to get younger, and another 1st rounder, that I'd try to trade my 2 2014 firsts for another top talent and call my 2014 roster solid yet again.

Doing this deal does leave me with Forte, Miller and TRich as my RB corps. I've had MJD before Rice, and had Forte as my RB2 for years. Little concerned not having two top tier RBs for the first time in 5+ years in this dynasty league.

So take Dez and TRich plus the pick, he's wanting to come down to a 2nd, and I'm still fine with that. The players are close overall IMO.

What stud rb? I just dont see it.T Rich is not as good as we all thought and now he's backing out of a top 1st round pick as well. To each his own. I don't like it. Rice has more talent in his pinky and u already have tier one talent at wr. As much as we all like to have the top talent in the league there's nothing wrong with top 10's. Cruz will bounce back either this year or next.
