I don't know right now. T Richardson hasn't done anything special to make me take him over Vereen. If Vereen would just make those over the shoulder catches with more regularity I would take him in a heart beat, especially in a PPR league.

maybe its just too soon for me....started vereen when it mattered last week....watched the game....but he is a tough rb to rely on....he just isn't the typical get 15 plus carry guy so EVERYTHING is on his receptions...they take that away and he is worthless....not the biggest trent fan though....having said all that Id prolly trade vereen for trent straight up....

Guys...it's vereen and not close. Do I think trich can be successful and maybe even an rb1? Yes. But vereen has an established role in a high powered offense for the foreseeable future and he excels at what he does! Trading him for Trent the week vereen has a bad week and trich scores like his 2nd td all year is selling very low IMO.

Do you still feel this way in a non-ppr league? I like Vereen a lot, but a ton of his value is dependent on catching passed.
    2013 predictions

    -Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
-Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs

cute little story...but you must have missed last sunday...2 carries....13 yards...3 catches....8 yards....look...ive been pimping vereen for a long time and been bad mouthing trent for the same amount of time....but....the dolphins just showed us how to eliminate what appears to be the pats best weapon...a very very non traditional rb....

Non-ppr I'd rather have TRich long term.

Ppr Vereen but non-ppr I think trich is better option moving forward.

Teams aren't even game planning to stop trich..that's the point. He stops himself

I don't think we know for sure either way at this point - 1 very good defense stops Vereen and suddenly he's trash? One decent game out of Trent and he's on his way? Every player has bad games, it's the nature of the beast, so who has more long term value? I think in ppr Vereen is an obvious choice, in non-ppr I may take the risk and go Trent - he's only 22, he is a traditional style workhorse back on a high-powered developing offense. I probably roll the dice on his development and look at Vereen as the ultimate extra back to plug and play any week you need him

If I owned Vereen I would not do the deal straight up.  I would want something else in return.

Most have it covered here....PPR Vereen is going to be a lot like Sproles I think, some fantastic games and will add in 30-50 yards rushing per game.

Trent is a really hard player to trade for now unless you are getting him for nothing.  Such a disappointment.  Maybe I am stubborn on this, but I don't think he is as bad as he's been this year.  he is a guy I would trade for with no expectations whatsoever this off season....get him as a throw in on a deal.

So for the original post, ya I don't mind doing the deal, but given what we've seen from him this year you need more compensation then straight up for Vereen.
