Best Moves You Made in 2013...

    We have a thread on worst moves made in 2013 so I figured we should have a more positive thread of the best moves you made in 2013.

    For me it was drafting Josh Gordon late and picking up Zac Stacy off waivers.  I also got lucky by some trades not going through.  Probably the best example was in my dynasty league where I was looking to give R. Bush and BMarsh for D. Wilson and H. Nicks give or take some smaller pieces.  That trade would've ruined what became a championship team.

    The best move I made was in my 16-team PPR dynasty league. In early October, I made the following trade:

    Demarco Murray and 2014 1st round pick (1.14) -for- Josh Gordon

    Traded David Wilson after his injury for a 2015 1st round pick.  The owner has had the 1.1 the last 3 years.
    12 team non ppr 8 player keep league: 3 rb max but one must be coming off rookie season

    Hopefully that trend continues for you.  2015 looks to be a really strong class.  That's great value for Wilson after his injury.

    Preseason deal giving Ivory for JGordon.

    Also gave Eli and DRichardson (ended up being his last week as STL starting RB) for RWilson (to pair with Cam)

    There's a few from various leagues that I really liked this year.

    Preseason when the Wilson hype was high and DRich was named the STL starter...
    Gave: DWilson/DRich/2014 1st (ended up being 1.11)
    Got: Martin

    After week 4 in a TE premium league
    Gave: Patterson/Tavon/Khiry/Pettigrew/3 2014 1sts (Ended up being 1.05. 1.07, 1.12)
    Got: AJG/Olsen/Palmer

    The trade doesn't look as good now and I expected the picks to be a little lower but I'm still very happy to get AJG without giving up a single player that was startable at the time. Plus AJG helped me win a championship.

    After week 9
    Gave: TRich/Patterson/Pierce/Givens/Hill/2015 1st/2015 2nd
    Got: Julio/Vereen/Flacco

    I was tired of the bust named TRich and upset I missed a chance to sell when he got traded to Indy. The only player I wish I could have kept was Patterson. I turned around and sold Flacco and recouped the 2015 2nd.

    After week 12
    Gave: Hilton/Dennis Johnson/Marlon Brown/2.11
    Got: Andre/Rice/Colston

    Wasn't looking to take on that much age, but the value was way too good. This trade pushed me over the top and insured my championship.
    2013 predictions

    -Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
    -Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
    -Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs

    Traded David Wilson for Russell Wilson preseason.

    One i'm hoping works out is trading away Peyton Manning and Edelman for Rodgers and Crabtree.

    Before the season I traded Kyle Rudolph, a 2014 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for Jimmy Graham....the 1st turned out to be 1.11, while the 2nd-4th were the 2.12, 3.12, and 4.12....loved the trade before the season, and it looks even better after the season

    EASILY taking Knowshon Moreno in the 5th of two rookie free agent drafts and the 20th of my only redraft. It's not very often you get fantasys number 4 rb for that price.

    Holding onto Moreno coming into the year, ended up my RB1. Trading Rivers for A. Brown at trade deadline in wake of A Rodgers injury. Ended up winning the title because of the trade somehow.
