I have a good team, don't get me wrong. But now questioning whether I should have bought Gronk (I needed a TE with Gonzo retiring though, we must start 1 TE, and can start a 2nd at flex if we wan)
Current Roster:
Rodgers, Rivers, Manuel Charles, Morris, Richardson, Tate, Todman Cruz, Cobb, Allen, Patterson, Wright, Hankerson, Dwight Jones Gronk, Gonzo (holding until he files papers) Gresham, Ryan Griffin, Toilolo
Picks 1.1, 2.10, 2.11, 3.6, 3.11
So after Gronk, I'm pretty weak at TE. I also traded Fitz and DeSean to get Gronk so feel like my WR depth took a big hit (although a healthy Gronk is easily worth it right?)
So my question is, would you try and move Gronk for something "safer"?
I have put feelers out for trading Gronk, starting with the Graham owner. So far, I think I'd have to give him Gronk plus 1.1 for Graham. Something I'd rather not do (this is the only league I'll have the 1.1, which I got in a trade early this past season)
Any thoughts/suggestions for this roster?

I plan on taking Sammy Watkins with the 1.1 unless something crazy happens post NFL draft.

Nice squad
I'd keep Gronk and try and trade Rivers for a backup TE (Reed, L Green, Olsen...I really like Ertz)

Troy that is great advise, although usually QBs don't get much value in this league. In fact I traded Lattimore out of desperation when Rodgers went down this year and Manuel was hurt too. But I think that is a great idea and will try it. Figure if I can get a late 1st or a TE it would be worth it. Any other ideas?

I think the best I can upgrade to Graham for is by trading Gronk and my 1.1 for Graham and a 2015 1st (which will probably be mid to late 1st)
Too pricy or would anyone consider that?

I think you're best to hold onto Gronk for now. The last memory owners have of him is him getting injured again. It's a long offseason. Don't get me wrong, Gronk's value will probably never achieve the heights that it was 2 seasons ago, but Gronk returning healthy at the start of 2014 would go a long way to raising his value a great deal. I'd just sit tight. Even after trading away Fitz/Desean, you go 5 deep with WRs that should be startable in 2014. Plus you'll add Watkins to that squad as well.
You may end up being able to upgrade your team a great deal by trading the 1.01 ON OR NEAR DRAFT DAY, not right now. People have been drooling over Watkins since last year, so there's a good possibility that someone will sell you the farm to get that pick. If not, take Watkins, be happy and move on. :)
2013 predictions
-Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
-Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs

@zildjian I think it's not necessarily too much, it's just a lot of unknowns that could go either way. Right now you're trading the 1.01, so it looks iffy value wise. It's easy to trade it away. Once the 1.01 becomes a player, let's say Watkins separates himself, or a runner does after the draft, I think you'll find the 1.01 and Gronk could be way too much. Waiting for the 1.01 to gain value is always smart. Plus, in your situation, time is on your side, not working against you. Right now people are going to trade for Gronk as if he won't be ready for 2014, and he may not... but if you wait, you may not have to give so much. One year from today, the player you take with the 1.01 might be worth more than Graham alone. Just wait and take your time.
