Value of Latavious Murray

I'm starting to get trade offers for Latavious Murray based on rumors he may be in line for the Raiders starting role in 2014 with DMac and Jennings currently FAs.

What value do you put on him for 2014?

I've got an offer of Mike Williams TB + a mid 4th round rookie pick (12 team league), but I'm tempted to sit on Murray knowing he could be worth nothing.

    My offensive roster:
    QB: A. Rodgers, S. Bradford, G.Smith
    RB: CJ Spiller, L. Miller, L. Murray, F. Jackson, B. Powell, J. Stewart,  K. Davis, K. Hunter, K. Robinson
    WR: D. Bryant, B. Marshall, J. Jones, K. Stills, S. Smith, B. LaFell, R. Broyles, J. Kearse
    TE: J. Graham, H. Miller

    14 team/NonPPR /$300 budget
    QB:
    RB: CJ Spiller 70; Shane Vereen 35; Montee Ball 7;
WR: Victor Cruz 38; Torrey Smith 35; Percy Harvin 13; Terrance Williams 5; Kenny Stills 5
    TE: Kyle Rudolph 7

You look all set at WR but a little questionable at RB, I'd roll those dice with a Murray breakout which would really set your team up.

agree with bmx - I was on the L. Murray train this time last year - if he gets a shot he could produce.

I agree with BMX and RBF. I'd hold onto Murray and hope he gets a shot to start.

I held his spot all year on IR hoping that he gets a shot, so I'm hoping he does...

Just saw this trade go down in one league yesterday. Murray carries a lot of sleeper hype appeal right now.

    Team A: Murray/Rashad Jenngins/3.04

    Team B: Lamar Miller/Michael Cox.

Im not sure if Miller's value is that low based on the reports of MIA bringing in another RB, or if the Latavius hype is that high. Getting Jennings with Murray does help mitigate the risk some.
    2013 predictions

    -Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
-Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs

Yeah, I would actually take the Murray/Jennings side of things. But then again, I don't see Miller doing much until at least 2015 when the coaching staff is fired.

Thanks for the input, I'm going to sit on Murray unless I get a really decent offer.

I snagged Miller for Da'Rick Rogers, in large part because I'm so thin at RB.  So it seems to make sense to gamble on Murray as I need him or Miller to produce behind Spiller.
