In my ten team dynasty we use reverse order of regular season finish. This way, you're not punished if you have a middle of the pack team, but make a playoff run.

I have some leagues that make the champ the last pick, but I'm a big believer in regular season fantasy record in reverse order.

Reverse regular season except champ champ is last
My 2013 Predictions:
[:(] C.J. Spiller Will Be The #1RB(Jan 9th)
[XXX] Demaryius Thomas will be the #1 scoring WR!(Feb 13th)
[XXX] Trent Richardson will NOT finish as a Top 10 RB!(June 4th)
[:(] Rob Housler will be a Top 5 TE in 2013!(July 18th)
[XXX] Josh Gordon will put up a 80/1200/10 stat line in just 14 Games!(Sept 5th)

In the league I commish, we currently reward the toilet bowl winner & runner up with a better draft position and the champ & runner up have the worst position. The twist is we use a lottery for first round picks to prevent tanking. The TB winner receives 12 ping pong balls, the TB runner up receives 11...the league champ receives 1. We put this rule in place to prevent tanking but it still happens to some extent. Just wondering if anyone uses total possible points to determine the order.
