Title says it all. He was pretty bad tonight after having e best season in history. We all like to say the number of titles won't affect his legacy, so what do you think?

The whole team took a shit. No one to specifically put it on. They all earned that beating.

Still think Brady is better than Manning because he's done more with less, IMO

I think it's pretty hard to argue against that. I mean when you look at who they've had around them...it has been a while since Brady has won one though

Manning is still one the 5 best QBs ever IMO. He had a chance to move up into the top 2-3 tonight though, and it didn't happen. If you own Peyton on some dynasty squads and was worried about him hanging them up, there is a silver lining to this beat down. IMO, there is no way Peyton retires like this. I think this all but assures he will be back for 2014.
    2013 predictions

-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB

I don't think Manning hangs em up until he breaks the most career passing yards, two seasons from now.

Since I own Orange Julius, I am happy that Manning will likely be back next year.

I can't see him going out on this truly sour note.

I don't know about Brady doing more with less. Tough to separate Belichick and Brady from one another. Also, Peyton hasn't had the benefit of great defenses on any team and he's had some O-line troubles in some of these seasons. I would imagine that Manning would have numerous rings were he in New England. They're both future HOFers. All things being equal, I'd take either one over just about anybody not named Montana or Elway.

He did set the record for most completions in a Super Bowl. However, he will go down as the best regular season QB of all time

I'd say I agree on the regular season bit.

I will say this on mannings behalf. That entire broncos team got their a** handed to them tonight. The fact of the matter is that Seattle had more talent on their roster. I'm sure that has a lot to do with Russell Wilson being paid so little...frees up a lot of cap space for the other 52 guys.

Peyton Manning is a truly a class act and I have the utmost respect for him. That says a lot coming from a Pats fan. Fact is he's choked in big games his entire career. Even the SB the Colts won, he did not play well.  Not to contradict myself, but I now call him Asterik* Manning. The greatest statistical QB in NFL history*

I don't know if that makes Brady better, but it's absolutely true. To me they are 1 and 1A of their generation.

Look I'm not a Peyton hater. He's a great qb, I'm just curious...has anyone who loved Peyton ever met him? I haven't, so I can't vouch for his personality- but I've met 4 people in my life that have met him (not like fans that were like "omg Peyton can I get your autograph?!", but they happened to be at the same place at the same time for parties, at bars, whatever..2 of them are my brother and my teacher) and I've never heard anyone speak glowingly of him after meeting him. Words I've heard to describe Peyton in person: "scumbag", "asshole", "jerk", "jerk-off", "dick", "douchebag".

Does that make him any less of a football player or great qb? Absolutely not. I'm not saying he is these things so don't shoot the messenger...just curious if anyone else has had a different experience? Or met people who have met him and thought he was a nice guy?

Nope, never met him or heard of anyone meeting me. By class act, I mean how he carriers himself on the football field, talking to the media, and respecting opponents and coaches. Seems like he just plays the game the right way.

Yah that's fair. I wasn't trying to take a away from your point. It just kind of reminded me of that and I thought I'd ask
