Calvin/Forte or Keenan/Ellington/1.09/2015 1st?

    Hey guys -

I'm considering offering this trade and am curious on people's thoughts.  It sets him up perfectly for the future and turns me into TEAM GERIATRIC (Romo, Forte, AP, Rice, Calvin), but it gives me a lineup of nearly all 1st round dynasty start-up players and puts me in a fantastic spot for 2 years (at which point I'll have to completely rebuild).

Do you think I'm offering too much?  Should I include Julius Thomas instead of Ellington?  Should I include Julius Thomas instead of the two 1st round picks?

    His roster:
    Newton - Alex Smith
Forte - Alfred Morris - Knile Davis - Khiry Robinson
    Calvin - DeSean Jax - Torrey Smith - Jennings - Bowe - Wheaton - D McCluster
    Eifert - Housler

    My roster below:

    Thanks guys!

I can't see your roster in mobile. Do you mind copy and pasting it into a message? Thanks.
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

I think you are selling short on your "2 year window".  Take this deal without question and go take your leaguemates' money!!!  Seriously, you'd be stacked.  I can't see how this is a good deal for the other team.  Keenan isn't quite proven yet, 1.09 is a shot in the dark, Ellington is all hype right now on a weak running team, and the 2015 pick is nice but probably going to be a later one if it is yours.

Good work if you can pull this one off.  PS.... always go for winning now, figure out the rest later.  A L W A Y S

    TE - Graham/Julius

I don't see how this deal would set the Calvin Forte owner up for the future.

He gives up the undisputed best player (perhaps two best) and only gets Allen as any kind of reliable future

Calvin and Forte still have tread on the tires and gas in the tank

Everything (not named Keenan) he gets in return is buried under a pile of.... question marks

I love Ellington and Allen more than  almost anyone, especially combine, but even I think Calvin/Forte crushes that side. They both have plenty of future.

Correct, I'm trying to get either or both of Calvin and Forte.

Thanks for the feedback.  What if I gave him Julius Thomas instead of
Ellington or instead of the picks?  Do you think I need to add Julius Thomas to the entire offer?  What do you think it would take to
get one or both of them?

Lol. Yeah you're getting two top 6 dynasty players for Allen. Not sure that's enough. I might not even give Calvin alone for all that.

My immediate counter if that was sent to me would be Calvin and forte for Allen, Graham, and 1.9 or the 2015 first. Considering you have top guys and aren't even including them in the trade it doesn't sound like you'd move them. But I'd send it anyway, it might open talks or he might be dumb and take it lol but if he does expect a call from the commish letting you know he's vetoing it :)

I'm open to whatever, but I was thinking that those guys would be enough.  He wants to stay young, so AP and Rice are out.  Doug Martin or Dez would be nearly lateral moves for older guys, so not a good trade for me.  Ellington, Keenan, Graham, Julius and the draft picks are what I think I have to play with.

Would the following be enough? ...or too much?
Keenan Allen, Doug Martin, Bobby Rainey, Julius Thomas, 1.9

Take this deal and win the championship. Don't worry about 2 years from now. Championships are hard to win, win it when you can.

I'm offering it to him, so we'll see what happens.

After everyone's feedback, here are the 2 options I'm sending him:

    OPTION 1
Calvin Johnson / Tyler Eifert  FOR  Julius Thomas / Keenan Allen / Donald Brown / 1.09

    OPTION 2
Calvin Johnson / Matt Forte  FOR  Julius Thomas / Keenan Allen / Andre Ellington / Donald Brown / 1.09 / 2015 1st round pick

I'll let you know what happens...

graham and martin make it fairer; as a commish i would have vetoed the first offer if accepted (and only vetoed once in 14 years) your team is strong for a good while, trade accepted or not
