Is Cobb worth the 1.01???

    Ppr dynasty

I've been quite content to take Watkins at 1.01 but was offered Cobb for 1.01. I honestly don't know how I feel about the offer. Thoughts?

Cobb is safer IMO. Watkins looks like he will be a good one, but we KNOW Cobb is not only good, but great. And on a great offense.

I would take Cobb for the 1.1

I don't know, Watkins is the real deal and depending on where he goes, he could outscore Cobb as early as the 2nd half of this season.  Maybe I'm drinking the koolaid, maybe I'm just not as big of a fan of Cobb's as everyone else, but I would ask for more.  If he doesn't want to give more, I would be perfectly fine taking Watkins (unless he goes to the Raiders or Jets).  If that's the case, Evans is almost as good.

Besides, if you don't like the landing spots, or you feel that you want Cobb later, you can still make the trade.  The 1.01's value only increases this time of year.

Watkins...Cobb is an above average talent on a great offense. Watkins is an elite talent. I'll take the talent.

Cobb... I'll take arguably the best qb in the game throwing to cobb for the next 5yrs over whoever watkins will have throwing to him...cobb is only 23yrs old on top of it.

Ok. Curveball. Ended up getting an offer of Keenan Allen will doing this post. Think Allen is a better option?

It's arguable on either side. Allen was the prototypical rookie star WR.. If you believe he is for real, sure. If you fear he pulls a mike Williams TB (remember his rookie year and how highly ranked he was entering year 2? Same could be said for all incoming rookies, though, and Allen is already proven in a way )... I did this trade in one league, but not in another (to hedge my beta and mix it up), so it's that close. Cobb - same value kinda.

I'm all for the idea of landing the 1.01/1.02 so I can land Evans (My #1 rookie this year) but I would easily take Cobb over that opportunity. You know what you're getting in Randall as opposed to a gamble that either Watkins or Evans pans out.

What does your roster look like? Do you need a WR or are you better suited trying to trade back in the 1st?

If Cobb gets hurt again he could possibly be out of gb in a year. I'd hold the pick till you get a no Brainer offer.

I take Cobb easily over Watkins because of the situation. He is in a contract year and we saw they let Jennings and Jones walk. If his siutation changed I wouldn't feel the same. That said, I gotta think they lock Cobb up long term because he's so young.

Tough choice...Cobb is a stud player on an elite team while Watkins is an elite talented player without a home yet.

GB isn't going to let him go. GB won't pay top dollar for aging vets, therefor the reason they let Jennings go. Cobb is still to young, they will resign him. He'll get a 4 or 5 year deal. After that contract is up is when GB will consider letting him go.

GB & Jennings did the same. GB is notorious for letting guys walk.

Its close for me, but his injuries and lack of a log term deal make me lean to the 1.1. For me it's not just Watkins vs Cobb it's the likelihood someone will overpay for the 1.1.

I would take 1.1 over both Allen and Cobb at this point.

I just simply do not trade 1.1 until at least after the nfl draft and usually not before my rookie draft unless the offer is a home run. Both Cobb and Allen have some questions. 1.1 is a steadily risin commodity.
