Dez for Murray?

    An owner has offered me demarco Murray, amendola, and a 4th round pick for dez.  I know I'm in serious need of a rb but can I afford to give up dez? What do you guys think?
    12 team non ppr 8 player keep league: 3 rb max but one must be coming off rookie season

    QB: RG3,
    RB: R Bush, Miller, Sproles, Ivory, Greene, L Murray
    WR: Dez, Decker, White, Colston, Woods, Cooper, Hunter, Givens, Bailey
    TE: Thomas
    K: Crosby
    DL: Dunlap
    LB: Alonso, David
    DB: Ward, Reshad Jones
    Picks: 1.5, 2.5, 2.8, 3.5

    I know you'd like to improve at RB but I wouldn't move Dez for that. Personally, I think you need to be getting a top 1-5 RB level players in return (not straight up, but that talent level needs to be on the table).

    In my .5 PPR league, Murray was RB 5 by total points and RB 3 by average. He out scored Dez by 1.5 ppg.

    Non-PPR I could see going Murray...PPR Id take Dez.

    If I'm moving Dez, I'd want a more dependable top rb. Murray seems to always miss time.

    All Dallas will do this season is pass...literally. They have the former lions OC who literally did nothing but pass I think at least 700 times.

    Besides Dallas is not keeping Murray after this season

    My response would then be "Neither is Dez, unless it's an overpay"

    I wouldn't move Dez for that!
    My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
    QB Russell Wilson, EJ Manuel, Josh Mckown
    RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
    WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Andre Johnson, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
    TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

    (I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

    Anytime there's a 4th round pick in an offer for a stud you can automatically reject.

    I agree.  I have another team interested in Dez and has offered me Ben Tate and Randall Cobb for Dez. I know it all depends on where Tate lands but i like it more than the Murray offer.   What do you think of that proposal?

    That is a MUCH better offer in a dynasty league.  However, if you can only keep 8 players (according to your signature), you don't want to give away the best player for 2 very good players.
