Foles. Only because QB production is so easy to find in 1QB leagues. If Foles continues to light it up in 2014, you don't have to worry about a QB for a very long time. If he regresses, oh well just find another QB to plug in, they're everywhere. LOL
    2013 predictions

    -Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
-Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs

Alright, I'm beginning to believe I live on an island when it comes to Foles. Not a shot in hell I take Foles over Brees if given the choice straight up between the two.

Best case scenario is that Foles continues on and becomes consistently 90% of what Brees is/was.  Brees still has 3-5 years (which is a long time in FF) in the tank and I just don't sell an elite player for a non-elite (albeit VERY strong candidate to become elite).  I believe that Foles will be a great NFL QB, I just don't think that he is worth the track record of Drew Brees straight up.

Hes going on 36...If I can swap him for another top 3-5 QB in his early to mid 20's I will. Obviously Id try to get more if I own Brees though.

Brees's poor road performance last year started to show some chinks in his armor, when I read this I started to look for deals. I've moved him in 3 leagues in the last 24 hours.

(KFFL)The New Orleans Saints are targeting a ball-control offense in 2014. They are expected to use four-receiver sets with a satellite running back less often. This philosophy switch is probably what led to the release of RB Darren Sproles and WR Lance Moore.

I can see moving Brees for Foles (+). There's just no way I can move him for a still relatively unproven QB without getting something else to sooth the burn. Straight up, despite his current age, this doesn't make sense to me. Could Brees regress from his last three or so years.... sure, but the dude is averaging 5,271 yards and 42 tds over that span and even if you take away 1,000 yards and 10 tds (for regression) he still puts together a 4,271 yard / 32 td season.

It makes perfect sense if you are a Foles believer and the other guy wont give up anything else. If your not a Foles believer than yeah...it prob makes no sense at all.

I actually just moved Brees/3.11 for foles and Ben Tate but it got me thinking I'd take my chances with foles straight up. I took foles over Brees in a redraft

In redraft Id still take Brees for at least one more year.

...or roughly equivalent to an optimistic projection for Foles.

I think sometimes we factor in age too much into dynasty rankings. I never consider a guy old unless he's going to be retired in 2 years, or for a rb going to be 30 within 2 years. How long do u guys hold onto players for lol? I'm looking at my dynasty rosters and if I hold onto a guy other than a young project for more than 3 years I'm shocked!

Brees is the single most consistent entity in dynasty. I think he has something like 5 straight top 3 scoring seasons. He always gets his points and rarely has games in season that are bad enough they will cost you a win.

This isn't even close, brees by a large margin for me.

    ...and this.

I understand that the hype is huge for Foles, but that question outside of the DC sheep who follow Smitty's projections like gospel (no offense Smitty, you're right most of the time), would be laughed at!  I don't even know if I would trade away Brees for Foles and the 1.03!

I'm still not sold on Foles. No talk of DC's taking Chip Kelly more serious this year? Foles threw 2 interceptions to 27 TDs last year, any chance that regresses? I expect 2 division opponents to improve on defense.

Low end QB1 vs elite QB1.

    Give me Brees.

I expect more INT's...but I also expect a lot more TDs as well...

Brees is elite at home but average on the road. I'm sure you can say this about most qbs but he's not a no Brainer automatic start every week IMO. Combine that with age and it's close for me.

I think the average on the road rhetoric is overplayed here.  I'm sure that if you take the splits of just about any QB his home split will be better.  Also the perceived struggles on the road down the stretch maybe had something to do with being against some really tough defenses  @SEA, @STL and @CAR and @SEA again in the playoffs.  They also beat SF at home in that stretch.  Even 2013 Peyton Manning would of struggled against that buzz-saw, we saw how he fared in the Super Bowl

Given the recent history of HOF QBs playing well late into their 30's or early 40's I think its way too early to sell off a 35 year old HOF QB in a proven & prolific passing attack.

I had my choice a couple of months ago in a trade and I took Brees, but I'm in win now mode. Brees ensures me top 5 QB production for 3-4 more years. It's a 1qb league and I don't think I need to look that far in the future. That said if Foles has a season just as good as Brees this year, the window for trading for the younger version will be closed.
