It just went down a bit but if they move Sproles, it will rise again.

Im so glad that my trade fell through, nothing to invest here anymore with PT signing his deal IMO.
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Russell Wilson, EJ Manuel, Josh Mckown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Andre Johnson, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

(I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

Sproles never actually got released, now the Saints are supposedly looking to trade him. Wouldn't it be hilarious if Sproles was to re-sign as well #eyeroll

Darren Sproles RB NO 36 Mins

Darren Sproles "wants to get released."

"I don't know where they would send me because I have no control over it, and I want to be able to pick," Sproles said. "I feel I should have more of an idea later on today." Sproles found out he was back on the trade block on Twitter. Apparently told of his impending release, he said goodbye to Saints fans on Twitter last Friday. New Orleans' handling of the situation has been clumsy, to put it mildly.

This smells like lamar miller all over again to me...I loved the way miller ran coming into last year, but the situation sucked...Same way I feel about khiry, the difference is that you can get k rob like 7 rounds lower..
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

Yeah, no one is valuing Khiry high, there is ZERO RISK. I hear ya, but Miller was a 3rd round pick.

As for PT, I look at it a bit different. The way I see it, everyone needs teammates, and I'd rather it be PT, an older player, than a young "we had to take him in the 3rd round" Seastrunk, or Mason, or Carey.

Remember, Parcells almost pushed Payton into playing him in the playoffs (I'm talking about Khiry), and Khiry responded. No one should have ever been holding Khiry as a starter, so this situation is the same as it was when Khiry cracked the Upside Board. At that stage, cuts of Sproles and PT weren't for sure.

I believe the PT signing means that Saints aren't confident in Khiry as a feature back and/or the talk of them moving to a more traditional feature back running game is not going to happen.

I do think that Payton will look to improve upon, and what has been a big knock with NO recently has been that they are telegraphing plays because of personnel sets.  Sproles > Pass, Robinshon/Ingram > Run, Pierre Thomas > Run/Pass.

Khiry robinson didn't get a single target in the passing game last year and I dont see that changing.  My guess is that the see Pierre Thomas as their #1 with Robinson/Ingram backing up on run downs.  I also believe they will go out and draft a Pierre Thomas type back that can run between the tackles and make plays in the passing game.   I think the best you can hope for is a RBBC for Khiry in 2014, with a very good chance he doesn't play much.

    and a short yardage td

seems like khiry threw out a stiff arm that either took down bruce irvin or came close to it on that lone reception

i think what value khiry had for 2014 is now gone....he went from a possible flex guy to handcuff in my eyes....I also agree with smitty and feel khiry or ingram have a much better chance of being relevant competing with Thomas then some hot shot rookie....

The fact that anyone here thinks NO is just going to all of a sudden change and give one RB tons of carries is just funny... Maybe Khiry does win the job.. give him 10-12touches, Ingram 5-7 touches, PT 5-7touches... yah I'll pass, they will and always will be a RBBC...

and yes I do like Khiry, I owned him a lot last year, but just couldn't keep him so had to cut bait. Sure I'll grab him late in FA if hes there but seriously, its a bad RBBC

The Saints averaged 30.5 carries per game over the last four games last year, and there is talk that they want to run a more ball control offense this year. Robinson caught the ball fine in college. Every team needs 3 backs due to injuries, etc.

Khiry can easily average 10-15 carries plus 3-5 receptions per game.

Sure, he COULD. I just don't see it happening this year. I hope I'm wrong (as I do own Khiry), but I think the backfield will continue to be a 3 headed RBBC. I think PT will get the majority of receptions in that backfield this year. I believe he had more receptions than Sproles last year, so he's obviously able to do it.
    2013 predictions

    -Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
-Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs
