I still believe Martin can be the top RB in the game. I would rank Spiller 2nd then Stacy.

Give me Spiller. Not a big Martin supporter, but I'm willing to bet most here would prefer Martin over Spiller.

Give me Martin. Stacy is the safest honestly, with Spiller having the most physical talent by far. But, with BUF having some issues (I predict) in 2014, and trouble moving the ball, I think Martin is the guy I rank highest, if not just because you could trade him for Stacy and some :) I do like Martin at the right value, though, and I almost want to say Stacy but again i just trade Martin and get more with Stacy.

I'm trying to decide on which to take as my rb1 in a dynasty start up...I don't need someone possibly busting (aka spiller), but at the same time, I am on of the biggest spiller believers here

its your team, advise helps, but go with your gut.

I would take Spiller due to highest talent level, low miles on his tires, and proven YPC is outstanding over multiple seasons.  He does come with risk, but doesn't every RB though?

I like Stacy - He and Martin are nearly identical athletically, but just a hunch, I see him as more durable and a workhorse. I can't really back it up with anything more than a hunch, but I like Stacy here long term.

You mean because of what I was trying to tell everyone here last year, because EJ sucks!
    My 2013 Predictions:
    [:(] C.J. Spiller Will Be The #1RB(Jan 9th)
[XXX] Demaryius Thomas will be the #1 scoring WR!(Feb 13th)
[XXX] Trent Richardson will NOT finish as a Top 10 RB!(June 4th)
    [:(] Rob Housler will be a Top 5 TE in 2013!(July 18th)
[XXX] Josh Gordon will put up a 80/1200/10 stat line in just 14 Games!(Sept 5th)

You can't blame the offense's woes on EJ, he was hurt majority of the season. They were playing toss up with two back up quarterbacks throughout the season

Yes I can blame him... I've watched every game, I wasn't a fan of drafting him in the first place. His deep ball accuracy is horrendous, he has a lot of work to do.

From what I heard, the coaches still have confidence in him so maybe he has a bounce back year and earns your trust haha

I think a rookie season injured often is too soon to label Manuel a bust - I will meet you halfway, he isn't a bust yet, but he didn't overwhelm that's for sure. I think the problem may be the game is too fast for him, he checks down out of confusion, not from lack of talent. If they can really work with him on quick decision-making, playing loose, handling mistakes, he has a chance - I put him at 50/50 right now, could go either way.

Can we revisit this for a moment please? I didn't think I was going to end up having my choice of the 3 but here I am at 4.11 and I do...it's dynasty ppr with big play bonuses.

I CANNOT DECIDE between spiller and dmart for the life of me!!

When I watch both, spiller blows Martin out of the water in terms of athleticism IMO. Martin is pretty strong, pretty shifty, pretty quick while spiller is REALLY quick.

Part of me thinks that the fact that spiller managed 4.6 ypc last year on a high ankle sprain could only mean good things for the future. The other part of me worries because when you look at the 4 games he played, before he hurt his ankle, those stats weren't that great..

Most of all I was so frustrated watching how the bills used spiller last year. I think he can do everything pretty well but he is CLEARLY much more dangerous in space..all year they just ran him up the middle ~X( .

On the other hand, we don't know for sure what we are getting from lovie and that offense..

One last thing to think about is that spiller's contract ends next year and he's a bit older...when his youth fades so will his game in general I guess...the shifty backs usually go before the bruisers because when you can't be quick you've got nothing..

I think, in writing this, I've talked myself into Martin.

Some people love Spiller. His athletisim is hypnotizing and the prospect of him putting it all together is irresitiable. If he did, his numbers would likely be that of 2012. That's his ceiling though. 207 carries is a career high. He's not built to be a bruiser or the goal line guy. Only 17 career tds. 2 last year. On top of that his coaches don't seem to trust him with a full workload. He doesn't do anything great. Won't rush for 1,500 yds, won't catch 60 passes, won't score 12 tds. He's a fine overall RB and a great RB2 value guy, but he's a dynasty RB1 that you don't want to build your franchise around. The question should be Martin or Stacy to me, but if you're considering between the two, Martin for me.

Valid points. He managed 201 last year while missing a game and being hurt for quite a few more, you don't think it's likely that he could see 230 carries plus some receptions when healthy?

I guess if his coaches wanted him to, but I guess they don't. He seems to get nicked up a lot, but does play through the pain. He's also 27. When I'm torn between two players I choose youth. Martin 25, Stacy 23...Allen 22. Just saying haha
