I don't see this posted here yet. Anybody see the new proposals from the competition committee meeting today?

I've actually wondered why there isn't a fixed camera on the sidelines & goal line (from each side of the field)...

Some of these are ridiculous. This one has to be my favorite...

Competition Committee proposes moving the final cuts from 6:00 p.m. ET to 4:00 p.m. on the Saturday after the final preseason game.

That 2-hour window has been a killer in years past!! Please, please, please - it is imperative that they move that deadline up by 2 hours!!

Most of the proposed changes seem pretty ho-hum

----10 Team Dynasty QB - Wilson, Eli, Keenum, Locker, Cousins / RB - ADP, McCoy, T.Rich, Lynch, Vereen, Turbin, Rainey, Latavius / WR - AJG, Dez, Cruz, Fitz, Harvin, Hopkins, D.Moore, Patterson / TE - Gronk, J.Thomas, Rudolph, M.Bennett, Clay / K - Crosby / DST - Bills -----

We kind of touched on this a little during the early part of the off season, but now I'm also hearing they are talking about Goal posts could narrow, eventually

As the NFL prepares to consider a proposal from the Patriots to push the extra point try back to the 25, another change could be looming that would affect the degree of difficulty for all kick attempts.

During Wednesday’s conference call to present and discuss the proposed rule changes, Falcons CEO Rich McKay addressed the question of whether the goal posts could be narrowed.

“We have talked about that a lot this year,” McKay said. “We have looked at it and I think it will be something that will be talked about a lot going forward. Really, that discussion gets a little past the extra point and starts getting to the actual field goal statistics themselves. We are at a place where field goals are made 86.6 percent of the time. Which is really an amazing thing because in 1970 that number was around 59 percent. We have really moved up. We have had some really good discussions about that. I do not think there is enough momentum to do it this year, but I think there will be discussions with the goal post going forward.”

The Patriots also have proposed extending the goal posts by five feet, which would reduce the situations in which the kick goes over the top of the apparatus. In those cases, it’s harder to determine whether the kick was successful.

Here’s another solution that could make the concept of the field goal more interesting — put another crossbar atop the structure and require the kick to pass through the ensuing box.
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

(I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

Don't they already have THEIR cameras installed in all other facilities? It's just a matter of turning their control over to the NFL. HA HA - good one Doggie!

If the unlimited players moving on to and from IR gets passed it will have huge impact on fantasy football. I hope it passes.

Call me a homer but I like the goal posts being extended 5 ft in the air. The Bal game was a bad call. Don't like the extra point being moved back. The reason overtime changed was the thought that the teams kill themselves all game and the outcome comes down to a coin flip. Imagine all the games decided by the outcome of a kicker. Wouldn't work and kickers would get fired on a weekly basis
