Sneaky rb2s this year?
  • emurrell17

Let's just throw some names out and some projections.

Let's not talk about legit rb2s..but guys that could be or rb2s that seem severely undervalued right now.

I think the ones that seem the most valuable right now may be Toby g, Jennings, dmac (idk what his adp is, but he's still on the board in my start up and we are in round 10) anyone else?
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

Possibly Sproles if he gets a similar amount of catches that he got in NO.

This one here is WAY deep, and it depends how he's classified in your league. I think he's listed as a WR on most sites though....Dexter McCluster. I could see him being Wisenhunt's new Woodhead. I didn't pay any attention to the Woodhead signing last year, and Woodhead paid dividends in PPR leagues. McCluster can be had for next to nothing (If not the WW). I won't doubt The Wiz again.

    2014 predictions

(3/16) Toby Gerhart will have 1400 total yards and 8TDs
(3/16) Cobb will outscore Allen in PPR

    :)>-

The reason I mentioned him was that a couple people have told me about him still being listed as a RB/WR on a few sites that do hybrid designations.

Khiry. McCluster definitley on my radar. MFL does have him as a WR though, I'm interested to see if it changes to RB. I don't know if he can handle carrying the rock as much as Woodhead. Woodhead 200lbs- McCluster-170. 50-60+ catches though and 100 carries could give him sneaky rb2/flex value.

    I like the Helu call...

What about Ridley? All but written off last year. Most want nothing to do with him. He could regain much of his old role and be a solid RB2.

Yeah I'll sign off on Ridley as a buy low. He can be had dirt cheap right now and he's already proven he can produce RB1 numbers if given the chance. It's an exercise in insanity owning any Patriots RB though. You got no one to blame but yourself if you invest that backfield.

Don't believe Shonn Greene or Helu will produce rb2 numbers. Would much rather take a chance on Helu than Green because his ceiling is much higher

Ball and Miller; lol sorry gents!
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

(I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

I totally agree with this. Wiz got him and paid him - he will use him. McCluster was on our waiver wire so I was lucky enough to grab him. If/when the Titans designate him as a RB, then MFL will make the same designation.

Agree with this and particularly like the joique bell pick too from jr. I have Bell as a rb2 in dc1 and don't really mind it. He helped me win a ton of games last year

Bell is one of those rare handcuffs that will produce Rb2/flex numbers as nothing more than a timeshare, but also is an RB1 if Bush gets hurt, which is always a good possibility.

I'm gonna say Latavius Murray. Does anyone really believe McFadden stays healthy? I can't picture him lasting more than a handful of games. Like the calls on Bell, Vereen and Jennings.
