    Where do you value you him? I'm on a complete rebuild and have little chance at winning any games this year.

    Would you trade rice for a 2015 1st n 3rd? My only interest in keeping rice is hoping he bounces back and I can get more for him. Or he flops and I'm left with nothing?

    I already have 2 2015 1st and I'd love to stockpile them. Also I have Pierce and he didn't ask for him so I can hope for a Rice flop.

    I've had Rice on the block for awhile now and this is the only offer I've gotten
    My 2013 Predictions:
    [:(] C.J. Spiller Will Be The #1RB(Jan 9th)
    [XXX] Demaryius Thomas will be the #1 scoring WR!(Feb 13th)
    [XXX] Trent Richardson will NOT finish as a Top 10 RB!(June 4th)
    [:(] Rob Housler will be a Top 5 TE in 2013!(July 18th)
    [XXX] Josh Gordon will put up a 80/1200/10 stat line in just 14 Games!(Sept 5th)

    The 2015 1st would have to be from a really weak team. Id want more than a 3rd as a throw in. 3rds do nothing for me. 2015 1st and 2016 1st? If I couldnt get a great deal I think Id hold and hope he bounces back.

    If its a daily weak team a 1st and a second would be very fair IMO but the key is u keep pierce ...

    Ah man when I saw this thread I thought something juicy just came out about Ray Rice. But all you want is value :-q
    I doubt you can get a late 1st for him more realistically a 2nd IMO.
    My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
    QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
    RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
    WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
    TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

    (I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

    I was offered a 1st n 3rd 2015.. Guy finished 1.5 this year..

    What if I could get a 2nd instead of 3rd?

    seems crazy that rice has fallen to late to mid 1st round pick and a 3rd value...id rather have rice i think...but you said your in complete rebuild so i guess i can see it....seems like u could get more...

    I'd counter with 1st and 2d, but maybe take a 1st and two 3rds, if you're in rebuild mode

    I do think rice should be worth a bit more but there's 2 reasons why I consider it.

    1. I have 10 picks this year (8 in first 20) that means eventually I'll have to cut or trade 10 players, this would take care of 1.

    2. I have very very little chance of winning many games this year. My hope is to start competing in 2015. Rice will be 28 in 2015, will I be able to get more next year? My guess is no unless he bounces back

    i couldnt even get a 1st for Rice in a DC league best offer i got was a 2nd and 3 didnt do it for me..

    That's where I'm at, before this it was nothing. If he comes back to top 5 rb it's a huge loss, if he flops again I'll be lucky to get a 3rd for him

    I offered R Jennings/1.04 for Rice/Pierce...got rejected so he still has value to some of his owners. Thought that was a strong offer.

    I likely would have considered it. I like that I'll be keeping Pierce in this deal so double win if rice flops.. IF is the big word though

    I own Rice in a few leagues and he's worth more to me than a future 1st and 2nd.  To me that's selling low but I'm not rebuilding and Rice will be starting for me in almost every league.  If I was selling him, I would want nothing less than two 1st round picks or a 1st and a decent prospect.

    And believe that Pierce is the future. Unlikely backups become the future starter though. Usually they either end up in a RBBC or get traded or leave in FA before the incumbent retires like Ben Tate did. I still wouldnt acquire Rice without Pierce though just in case. Its prob a long shot though that Rice leaves and Pierce becomes the sole stud RB in Balt.

    i think we will see alot of what happen in Houston with Rice and pierce...both getting carries.
