Jackson has agreed to terms on a deal with the Washington Redskins (No April fools this time)

One visit was enough for DeSean Jackson to determine where he wanted to play next season.

According to Dianna Russini of NBC News 4 in Washington, Jackson has agreed to terms on a deal with the Washington Redskins.

Jackson was scheduled to leave the D.C. area on Tuesday evening. Instead, he chose to stick around another night; a sign talks could be progressing toward a deal between the two sides.

Now that deal is done. Jackson is expected to sign the contract Wednesday morning.

Jackson was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday and is coming off the best season of his career. Jackson caught 82 passes for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns with the Eagles last season.

Jackson’s addition would bring an explosive element that the Washington receiving corps has been lacking. Jackson will join Pierre Garcon, Santana Moss and fellow free agent signee Andre Roberts as receiving options for Robert Griffin III.

What does this do for Pierre Garcon?  Help or hurt?

Help IMO could very well pull coverage off him at times but I'm someone that will watch what happens next since I'm not buying either now.

I think any legit WR acorss from Garcon hurts a bit. It may free him up for bigger plays, but I don't think there's any way that Garcon sees the kind of targets he did last year. That's what he made his name on last year, PPR production. He very rarely scored TDs, and he didn't have a lot of big plays. Just steady catches week in and week out. This brings Garcon's ceiling down, but I still think he's some sort of WR2 in PPR.

(3/16) Toby Gerhart will have 1400 total yards and 8TDs
(3/16) Cobb will outscore Allen in PPR

Hurts, less coverage yes, but fewer targets as well

What does this do to rg3? Does he jump into top 10 qb rankings or even top 5 now?

    @swampies ... You're still a jerk... :P

    My take:
Desean: slight bump down (from Philly)
    Garçon: slight bump down
    Roberts: crushes his upside
RGIII: bump up. Top 10 for sure now IMO
Morris: slight bump up. Clears the box a bit.

Agree with all of this. DJax's value has been spiraling over the past few months though. Because of that, this is going to feel like a value increase to most DJax owners IMO. If nothing else, it at least stabilizes his value. There weren't many possible landing spots for DJax that were very appealing. Overall, WAS is a solid landing spot for him.

I'll go along with this assessment. Not happy as a Garçon owner. Targets definitely gonna decrease. I don't think it will hurt Reed either

As an Andre Roberts owner, this stinks.  I was looking forward to him finally getting a starting gig...  Hoped his dynasty value would have exploded in PPR this year.  Now he's just sharing the slot with Old man Moss

I think the player assesment above is excellent, and the Redskins offense might actually score some TDs this year

I still like Roberts as a strong WR3 - could be around his best numbers yet 800/5. The defense will have to contend with Garcon and DJax leaving that middle to be exploited. just a thought

Reed bumps his head, and is confessed.
