Draft Day (the movie)

Don't waste your time on it.

Easily one of the worst movies ever made..not realistic at all...nonsensical plot twist..it just wasn't good.
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

I mean I'll be honest. I kinda sorta enjoyed it, just because I'm really into the draft but it was still absolutely awful as a movie if that makes sense...especially knowing what I know about football

The guy used to be in some really good/high quality films: no way out, the big chill, dances with wolves, the untouchables, open range, Silverado (THE movie I would watch when I was sick as a child), field of dreams, bull Durham, for the love of the game, etc...

What happened to Costner??? Seriously... :-??

    Lol , no doubt!
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

(I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

I would've rather have a documentary made instead. Getting into what we don't see behind the NFL curtain.

One of the best 30 for 30's...they should do one for the Eli/rivers draft

loved that special just amazing how history could have been so different by teams choosing someone other than the person they did. Marino and a Elway was such a great episode. And the fact that the 49ers wanted to trade Montana for a move on Elway was just crazy to hear.

    Just came back

    Wasn't great; wasn't awful...

WAY TOO MUCH Jennifer Garner/Costner scenes. Maybe one or two were needed, but so many were pointless

    The temp was pointless

Yes, the draft part would never happen; but it's a movie, and the draft portion of the movie was entertaining

Definitely made me want to trade my 1.1 lol

Definitely made me want the NFL Draft to be RIGHT NOW

Arian Foster was unrecognizable to me without his goatee. Didn't even know it was him til the credits...

I'd watch it again if it was on tv; wouldn't see it again in the theatre...wouldn't buy/rent the DVD....wouldn't change the channel if it was on tv

There is a website that might have it in a couple of weeks that plays movies that are still in the theater. Its free but you do risk yourself with malware if you log on with a PC like anything that's free. If you want to know the site, PM me. I use my iPad with the Apple TV and have no problems since Apple does not get viruses. Just throwing it out there.
