Bell to Ball at least a lateral move?

I'm reloading in this team. Traded away Murray for LeVeon last week because I felt I could get better value out of Bell on the trade market.

I'm in discussions with the Ball owner. I can get Ball+ for Bell. I own CJ Anderson too, so I think that would give me some insurance with Ball as well.

My question is, do you feel going from Bell to Ball should at least be a lateral move in the long term? Right now the offer is Ball/1.10 for Bell. I'm not as high on Ball as many around here, but I'm not that high on Bell either. I almost feel like I'd be getting the pick for free by doing this.
    2014 predictions

(3/16) Toby Gerhart will have 1400 total yards and 8TDs
(3/16) Cobb will outscore Allen in PPR

Even though he doesn't excite me, Bell is the safe play and would have to give him the slight edge straight-up. Ball has big upside in that offense and I could see a gambling owner taking him straight-up over Bell. The fact that you're also getting the 1.10 and have CJ Anderson rostered makes it a pretty easy yes for me.

Considering everything you are getting or already have, I'd take that deal.

    I'd make that trade
    My 2013 Predictions:
    [:(] C.J. Spiller Will Be The #1RB(Jan 9th)
[XXX] Demaryius Thomas will be the #1 scoring WR!(Feb 13th)
[XXX] Trent Richardson will NOT finish as a Top 10 RB!(June 4th)
    [:(] Rob Housler will be a Top 5 TE in 2013!(July 18th)
[XXX] Josh Gordon will put up a 80/1200/10 stat line in just 14 Games!(Sept 5th)

I feel its lateral yes, with Ball having more upside imo. Id make that move easily unless you feel you can get a player worth a damn in place of the pick. Any chance you can upgrade a position with a deal like this?

I like Bell more but I still don't like the line he's behind.
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

(I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

Id prob take Ball and the 1st but Id try to make the deal bigger 1st. Up grade him at a WR spot that doesnt start for you and ask for his 2015 1st and give back your 2015 2nd. Something like that.

Good idea....he's established he feels Bell has more value so why not turn it into another player and take advantage.

Anyone selling Ball right now is a non-believer, which means you can push for more

The idea about pushing for a bigger deal is what i tried in the first place. This is what it came down to. There's a big disparity between the haves and the have nots in this league, and the Ball owner and I are in the middle and reloading a bit.

Because of this, he wouldn't deal his 2015 1st. I have 3 1sts next year, so i was looking to make it 4. I just felt that if I believe Ball and Bell are essentially a wash, I'll take the 1.10 and move on. Final deal was...

    Bell/2.06

    For

    Ball/1.10/2.04

I like ball over bell so..
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

So I tried a similar trade without any luck. I offered Bell for Ball and pick 2.1. He countered with Bell and Ball straight up. I went back with Bell and my 3.7 for Ball and 2.1. I thought that might have a chance. Shot down.
Oh well. It was worth a try.
    QB - RG3,Cutler, Osweiler, Keenum
RB - McCoy, Moreno, Bryce Brown, K Hunter, Denard
WR - Torrey, TY Hilton, Andre Johnson, Hartline, Stills, K Thompkins, Royal, Givens
    TE - Clay, Dwayne Allen
    K - Prater
