Tate, Stacy, Lattimore, D-Martin, A-Morris and Gio owners... how CRITICAL is the handcuff?

What is the most any of your are giving up for your cuff?

Example: Ben Tate.. how much is West and Crowell worth if you own Tate? Same for all of the above? Throw out scenarios.

High 2nd round rookie picks for Hyde & Mason

About a mid to late second for all the other handcuffs

No, i mean players. Would you trade a WR3 for your cuff? I think West is critical, but I still love Tate/West, so my advice to all Tate owners is not to panic to get rid of Tate, just go get West (and Crowell if you can). That CLE rushing game will be strong.

Stacy owners NEED Mason, too, but selling Stacy isn't wise IMO, not at the prices I'm seeing as of late.

I'm not even attempting to buy these 'cuffs right now. Rookie fever is is full force and we're less than a week removed from the NFL draft. Prices are high right now, and a lot of owners are going to do there best to gouge you on the price of your cuff. I'm going to sit tight for at least 3-4 weeks until things calm down a bit before I approach someone about one of these cuffs.

I guy I want in all leagues is Terrenace West, and again, that is not to suggest I don't equally love Tate. I just think the gem is West out of all these rookie rushers.

    @branch0095

I actually just adjusted the rookie rankings tonight, and I have West No. 7 out of all rookies (and honestly feel like moving him higher, but left him below guys that will have a for sure immediate impact... 7th is super high against that ADP we got going on there, as West wasn't a top 12 overall pick in any of our 3 mock drafts that constitute our average... and, West appears to have an ADP around 2.03 -2.06 in most all drafts I've seen. Great news. Ranking 7th is my ranking, NOT where I recommend taking him. Although, reaching a bit is something I'll do to ensure I get him. A bit is the key word.

Interesting rankings Smitty in a year where many believe RBs are weak.

In a league where I have Gore, Lattimore and Hunter, I have been asked if I would accept Hyde for my C Michael; any advice welcomed!

The addition of Crowell could be causing a decent drop for West. I got him at 2.11 in a recent rookie mock. Total bargain for a guy who I think could be the best rookie RB when all is said and done.

4 of my cookie leagues are doing their rookie drafts already. I've seen West anywhere from the 1.07 all the way to end of the 2nd.

No. You're in a tough spot, but Michael is huge. I keep him. I like Hyde, but not as much as West, and especially not as much as I like Michael.

In a league where I have Julio, Keenan, Cruz and Cooper, I an considering moving Fitz (whom I like a lot this year and still next year) for Terrance West and KaDeem Carey. My only RBs are Foster and Tate. That's overpaying for sure, IMO, but in a league where trading rarely happens, you almost have to jump on some sell high opportunities here and there if it makes sense. I love both rookies.

Lattimore will be the handcuff post Gore IMO. Not Hyde.

Tate - Id prob try to get West for sure cause hes been fragile as a backup.

Martin - I wont cuff him unless I get the cuff off the WW

Stacy - Im staying away from that situation all together unless its real cheap. I think Mason is the better talent too but this will be a nasty RBBC.

Gio - another nasty RBBC with Gio loosing goal line carries. Gio will still have good value esp in PPR. Id try to get Hill if the price is right.

Morris - another situation I will completely avoid...especially in PPR formats.

Lattimore worries me now. Sounds like his rehab is coming along slower than expected. Even if that isn't the case, mix things going around and such, Hyde still commands a look at the RB2 spot for SF. Hyde is a big prospect.

That's bold to say the least. You shouldn't really have any problems getting this done. I can't imagine too many owners passing up Fitz for a couple of rookie handcuff RBs, no matter how high they are on them.

Id rather have Hyde in your situation. Michael is behind Lynch whos younger and better than Gore and he has Turbin there who is a near clone of Michael. At least Lattimore has bad wheels and Gores wheels have no tread on them.

Yeah, I'm the first to say don't overpay, but I can't get a ham sandwich for Fitz - some leagues are like that, more future based than others. Fitz hasn't had a 1000 yard season for going on two years now, so no one (but me usually) is buying. No one... in a situation like this, and Tate is my RB2 and I got WR depth for days, I'll take two exciting rooks that are in my top 10 ish for all rooks.

Thanks JRM, Smitty. West indeed looking good; Cromwell too perhaps on a team that should run much behind a solid line.
RBs have certainly gained value with plum destinations. Situation as important (or more) as talent for RBs?
Fitz trade appears solid Smitty; depending on team make-up I could see taking either side.

West and Crowell (I'm a Tate owner) or West and Carey?

I hate to miss out on Carey, but I feel really hogs about the Browns rushing attack, regardless of who it is of these three (I like Tate and West the most, though, but Crowell would do well if leading the attack).

    This team will be:

    QB1: Nick Foles
    RB1: Arian Foster
    RB2: Ben Tate (West/Crowell)
    WR1: Julio Jones
    WR2: Keenan Allen
WR3: Victor Cruz / Riley Cooper
    TE: Dennis Pitta

I can see Tate being gone next year since his contract has guaranteed money or injured so West and Crowell could be the future together, but it's tough to roster 3 RB's from the same team unless it's a deep league. I'd take West and Carey for now. Crowell will still be a handcuff regardless if Tates gone. You'll still be able to trade for him.
