Ellington's worth in rookie/FA draft

    Just got an offer for Ellington in my 10 team standard scoring league ... my Ellington/K Davis/R Woods for the 2.1/3.1.  I'm going to decline, but got me thinking what value people have on Ellington in terms of Rookie/FA draft picks?  
    Side note - I've sent this guy Blackmon/Davis (he has JC) for the 2.1 - declined ... he sent this counter after my Davis for the 3.1 offer.....

    Personally, I gave Vereen for Ellington +3.06. That was a couple of months ago though. I've been watching him be moved for mid-late 1st rounders though and I probably wouldn't sell him for anything less than that now that I have my hands on him.

    In PPR, I'd have a hard time moving Ellington for ANY 1st round rookie pick.  Sankey has a nice situation, but Ellington looked so good to me last year.  5.5ypc and almost 10 per reception...run that out over a year where he gets legit carries (220-250) a receptions (40-60) and you're looking at a guy flirting with 1600-2000 total yards, probably double digit TDs.....250-300pts in PPR.  I think that's pretty close to his floor BARRING injury (always a big issue with small-ish backs).  So, no, I wouldn't move Ellington for the 1.1 or 1.2 unless I was deep at RB and needed a WR.  And if I was, I'd probably be looking to move another RB (with more name value but less tread left on his tires) for that top pick and then some.

    Oh, and if I was offering for Ellington, I'd offer anything from 1.4
    down most likely, and wouldn't hesitate to offer 1.6 or later for him in
    any PPR league.  In fact, think I'll run off to all my leagues and do
    just that.  ;)

    I gave 1.11/2.01 for Ellington in a PPR and was thrilled to do it.
    2014 predictions

    (3/16) Toby Gerhart will have 1400 total yards and 8TDs
    (3/16) Cobb will outscore Allen in PPR

    I'd offer up my two of my 1.8/1.9/1.10 for him in my main league if I didn't already own him...I love that deal for you, Branch.

    Love the potential of this guy..can't believe I just that about a cards rb lol..it wasn't just a year ago that was the place they goto die.i give up anything from 1-05 down most likely

    wow Ellington should be worth anything outside of a top 3 pick imo... Watkins/Evans/Sankey are top 3

    I think Ellington would easily be my 1.04. Not that I wouldn't try to get him for less, but I'd rank him at 1.03 or 1.04 if magically cut from a current roster and dropped into an upcoming rookie draft.

    Thanks guys ... countered with Ellington/Davis (again, he has JC)/R Woods/Jordan Reed (he has no TE) for the 1.1 .... overpay imo ... but I have to trim my roster down.
