IDP Ranks Poll: Top 5 LBs

Ok, so this is how 'group' IDP Rankings will have to go.

INSTRUCTIONS: Just vote for your No.1 LB, then NO. 2 then NO. 3... let's see if we can use the different votes to compile more than the top 3. My guess is we can, maybe more so with 3-6, as the voting trend will almost rank through the top 7-8 for us even if we are all just voting 3 times:

I think this setup can produce data that may just fill out a top 8-10? Thoughts on this type of data collection using just 4 polls in one poll? I think it will be very telling through the top 10 even @rabidbucfan @buckysgt and all?

I think this is a great way. IDP can vary drastically from league to league. Getting lots of opinions can only help generate good rankings and information.

The category says this is a dynasty discussion but the directions say redraft...which one are we looking at? Changes things a little bit for me...

So looking at those numbers, @rabidbucfan @buckysgt do you think we can rank a top ten accurately? How would the data shape a top 10 and would it look reliable.

If one Multi question poll can accomplish this, we are golden!

That bonus question could really add some telling 6-10 data don't you think?

So according to this, the rankings would something like this. That is if I'm reading everything correctly.

1. Kuechly
2. David
3. Burfict
4. Poz
5. Alonso
6. Wagner
7. Kendrick's
8. Ogletree
9. Bowman
10. Laurinaitis

Looks about right, and that seems logical and solid, right?

And it only took one complex poll to do it ! ;) But, i may take a run at going deeper , like top 15.

I don't think anyone would really disagree with that top 10.

I think the next 5-10 players could really be up in the air or pretty even when voting on.

Since this is redraft the only thing that looks off is Bowman - he'll probably be on PUP at the beginning of the season so couldn't Lee or Dansby take that spot? If it were dynasty I wouldn't say anything about it. just a thought.

I typed up the same long narrative twice only to have them not show up...not trying again until I know it works

Well..that one worked, going to try this again, this is just me shooting holes in some of these guys, not saying that they will totally be off the list but maybe puts a chink in their armor

1. Kuechly
2. David - not sure he repeats in that new def with lovie at the controls, still top 10, maybe not #2
3. Burfict
4. Poz - a year older, a much improved def around him, like David still top 10, maybe not top 5
5. Alonso - the shift to wlb will decrease tackles, plus the guy had a ton of INTs last year, tough to duplicate
6. Wagner - BEAST
7. Kendricks - like him a lot, actually think the offense hurts him as teams need to throw instead of pass on Philly
8. Ogle tree
9. Bowman - move up in dynasty, move off in redraft...horrible knee injury, not what they use to be and is rehabbing with APs doctors, which is encouraging, still will play this year but not until second half of the season
10. Laurintuis - tough to have two on this list from the same team, on a very good def and will be hit or miss much of the season because of the lack of opportunities

Dynasty wise I would go
1. Kuechly
2. Bowman
3. Wagner
4. Burfict
5. David
6. Washington
7. Kendricks
8. Kiko
9. Lee
10. Poz

Bonus
11. Ogletree
12. Cushing

Guess you can take lee off my list...he was just carried off the field by 2 trainers...
