Terrance West

Third-round RB Terrance West is handling the majority of the first-team reps at Browns minicamp and is "expected to play a major role" on offense this season.Ben Tate has been taking part in individual drills at minicamp but hasn't participated in 11-on-11s. West is getting the bulk of the reps with the starters, with Chris Ogobonnaya mixing in. Tate broke four ribs last season, so it's possible the Browns are being cautious with the injury-prone back. Tate has missed 24-of-64 games since entering the league. West gets what's blocked and has the ability to break through initial contact. His current eighth-round ADP should continue to rise over summer. West could easily end up leading the Browns in carries.

He is a beast. Wasn't my No2 ranked rookie RB well before the draft for nothing, it's just such a shame for Tate, who I also like a lot. West has a bright future.

He'll be traded to Indy in wk 3, isn't that how they work?lol

Yeah. If CLE follows the CLE trend, West won't get the support he needs I guess. I have a feeling West gets his shot and does well. Again, it's a shame Tate couldn't find a less crowded home. Either back could be top 10 if starting most all of the season. Both are very capable!

Where should one look to grab West in a rookie draft? Is there such thing as grabbing him too early?

as i said all off season it isnt tates talent , He has proven he cannot stay on the field more than anything so they are trying to get west up to speed imo..

This is very nice news for West.  I still think Tate and Crowell will get their opportunity to shine as well and it's sounding like CLE will be running the ball on 90% of their plays, lol.  A ton of touches are available.

Personally, I think Crowell is pie in the sky and will have to earn every snap he gets.    Blah, blah blah talent blah blah blah.   Dude is on a VERY tight leash and the two guys in front of him have a ton of talent as well...   He'll need injuries to sniff the field in any role other than an occasional snap or garbage time IMO...

I recently grabbed him at 2.04 in a very competitive dynasty league. For comparison. we are at 2.09 and not a single QB taken.

In another league he went 2.09.

West went 1.6 in my rookie draft May 17th but 3.4(10tm) in my 2QB league, His value is all over the place, it all depends if you have a person that believes in him.

Note the league he went 3.4 in I took Crowell 2.10, again it's all about who guys believe in

One week after the NFL draft, I traded the 2.5 (D Adams), 2.6 (A Williams) , G Zurelein and #2 free agent pick (T Williams) for the 2.1 (T Mason) and 2.2 (T West) in my main dynasty cookie league.

I am a Tate owner in that league...

I almost don't care where his ADP is, as all it takes is another owner who loves him to reach... so, I reach big time for West to ensure I get him. I have taken him as high as 1.06 and not ashamed to admit it.
