Johnny Manziel inks a four-year deal with the Browns, but Brian Hoyer looks like the team's starter entering camp. Ben Tate and Terrance West to succeed?

    Manziel or Hoyer, who starts?

    Tate or West, who starts?

Tate or West, who leads the team in carries at season's end?

I've been saying this all offseason, the Hoyer love is out of control, The guy had ONE good game last year, ONE(269 2TDs 0INT)! He had 1 decent game vs the Vikings but the 3 INTs that game kinda kills that not to mention 146 of his 321 yards that game went to Gordon who won't be there. I can name you a lot of QBs in the NFL that have put together 1-2 good games then faded away.

0% chance Hoyer is starter week 1 IMO, barring injury. The fans would go nuts if they benched JF IMO ala Tim Tebow.

Without Gordon, Manziel (a runner and passer) might be more effective. I wouldn't write either off. Hoyer has skills IMO. Manziel does as well, it's not hard to imagine either being the guy. Having both is good for the team. If they had Gordon, wow... Gordon, Cameron.. Two elite capable backs, two big upside passers... Gordon screwed Cleveland.

Let's hope Gordon catches a break and gets to play a good part of the year!!

I bet the odds are better that the Titans or Raiders or Dolphins will win the Super Bowl...

Manziel is the starting QB week one.

Tate is the starting RB week one only to go down to injury opening the way to West keeping the job, say maybe week 4 or 5.

I'm starting to think that Cleveland goes RBBC.  Tate's injury history is well documented, so I doubt that they would want to hand him a heavy load.

Cleveland is gonna run a ton in 2014 IMO.  Tate and West could see 150 plus touches each running the rock in a RBBC.

I'll tell you what, I would still want Hoyer because if Cleveland doesn't want him he's primed to start somewhere else! Wouldn't doubt if the Vikings took him in Case Bridgewater didn't pan out!
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

I'm thinking that is low.....maybe 200 each.  Browns with no Gordon means run run run.  Their Defense can slow down a game i think that will be their plan 2014

Yeah I've been holding the Hoyer love in check all off season as well. Been following him a long time as the backup in NE. He's very smart with a decent arm, but projects as a career backup imo. He may be able to find a role as a game manager and who knows, maybe have a McCown/Gannon career later on, but I think they start with Hoyer and go to Manziel by wk 6

Yeah, I figured there would be about 150 rushing touches going to guys other than Tate/West.
