According to utsandiego.com, Chargers RB Ryan Mathews looks like he has gained muscle and weighs 222 pounds, up from last year's 215. Will the gained weight actually lead to injury?

    What camp are you in?

Woodhead in the 9th and avoid Mathews?

    Or

    Mathews in the 4th?

    Edit: or

    Grice super late?

Matthews in the 5th/6th as a flex.
Grice as dynasty handcuff. No redraft.
Steering clear of Woodhead unless I get him for an RB4/5 price tag

I like his redraft value better then his dynasty value.  I'm not sure the Chargers resign him next year.  However in a draftmasters league I drafted Matthews late 6th round, he was the 28th RB taken.

Wow I'm not a Matthews guy but that's great value.

Yeah, his adp is 4.03-4.05. The 6th would be a lot less risk, but I don't see him going past 4.12 in most redraft mocks.

Mathews is definitely an upside pick this year. His value is in the tank, despite having a pretty nice 2013. In a startup I did in mid April, I got Mathews at 8.03 as the 24th RB off the board. 12 team PPR, must start 2RB league.
    2014 predictions

(3/16) Toby Gerhart will have 1400 total yards and 8TDs
(3/16) Cobb will outscore Allen in PPR

I'm doing a dynasty start up currently. Mathews just went 5.5. Right after Gerhart and before Ben Tate. That's earlier than I want him, but still great value if you want to take on the risk.

8.3 is insane. No risk, all upside picking him there. Nice work

I really think Grice could own this job by next year if Mathews gets hurt again.  After some further research it sounds as if SD essentially was stalking Grice during the draft process.
