    what do you guys think of this guy this coming year and following years to come. Consistently on sleeper lists for next year. Contemplating on trading for him.

    He can gets you 850 and 6 TDs next year. A solid WR3 and growing. I wouldn't trade a lot for him as it's still Marshall's law there but he's rising.

    Im thinking of trying to trade ridley and cobb/jordy for spiller and say throw someone on like jefferys..he also has lamichael james

    I liked what i saw, but think he'll need another year before getting into WR3/4 territory.  The Bears just flat out don't throw the ball to anyone not named Marshall or Forte.  Hopefully the regime change will help.

    This is going to be a situation where the Bears committed to Trestman to improve the offensive side of the ball, much like Houston did when they hired Wade as their DC. The Texans used their top draft picks on defensive players plus added the top FA CB in Joseph - instantly Wade is a genius DC! Cutler will get an improved offensive line and possibly a top FA Tight End (M. Bennett, F. Davis, Finley if released, etc - rookie TEs take too long to develop, typically). Cutler, Forte, Jeffery, and their new TE all get a bump. Marshall a decline because, well, he won't get 74 (118 to 44) more receptions than the next most productive receiver with a more balanced attack.

    I'd move Ridley/Jordy for Spiller/Jeffery.  I might be in the minority but that's how much I value Spiller over Ridley.  Not a Jordy fan at all.

    I seen it first hand, I watched every Alouettes game here in Montreal. He took an average team and made it into a powerhouse offense. Anthony Calvillo is the all ttime passer in football history. Tress has a lot to do with that. I hope I did my homework and bought it... Man even typing it feels gay.

    if you can get Spiller for Ridley/Jordy Id make that trade in a heart beat, doubt it's close though

    Can you list your roster or tell us who your other WR's are.  I still like this deal for the upgrade from Ridley to Spiller but if Cobb is your WR1, I could understand your hesitation.

    Will he take Stevie instead of Cobb?  Has that been discussed?  I don't think moving Cobb is very wise for you to do but that Spiller upgrade would be huge for you at RB.
