Gio Bernard - what's his ideal landing spot/team

I'm starting to think Bernard's likely career is as a COP RB. But what would be the best team for him to land with that would result in him being more than a COP, where he could be the next McCoy or Charles?

Bengals?

IMO ATL is the best long term landing spot for any rookie RB, but Cin and NYJ could be good as well. I like the jets for a rookie RB because they're in such bad shape overall that they won't draft any rbs in the next 3 years if they take one high this year, and There's noone on the roster to challenge for carries

here's the thing - i think if he goes to the Bengals then he's a COP for sure. they're not exactly gonna leave Benjarvis on the sideline once they get near the goal line. i'm thinking he's gotta go to the Lions where they use him as a Jahvid Best type RB. or perhaps the Chargers? i don't think teams see him as an every down back. i could be wrong.

Not necessarily...Think Charles and T Jones or Spiller and F Jax. I think Bernard and BJGE would compliment eachother and BJGE wouldnt be a huge threat to Bernards explosive style of pay. BJGE is a plodder who gets his yardage a little at a time so hes a good short yardage RB. I do not think that Bernard and Quizz compliment eachother very much and could hurt ech other.

Talent always rules. If he went to the Bengals BJGE would be less of a realistic option at RB in fantasy. The fact that not everybody considers him 1.1 blows my mind. I think he is going to be a beast. He loses almost no speed what so ever when he cuts. His only real knock is he has a limited amount of "moves" for one on one situations, but he can learn that from a solid RB coach. All the physical tools are there. He won't be a grinder but he will be a productive fantasy back.

How about the Colts? Solid offense that throws a lot opening lanes, and they like who they have but obviously want a more threat for long runs. I think he would be best suited for the Colts.....fingers crossed. He would have a lot of screen passes also for PPR.

If DET can't land RBush, Bernard would make for a nice back-up plan... IMO, Bernard would make LeShoure expendable... As Martin did Blount in 2012

^ don't see that ... Detroit spent a 2nd pick on Leshoure ... 1st on Best. Don't see them spending a high pick on a RB. I like Leshoure as a upside pick this year ... over a year removed from his injury ... should see even more burst back (ala DThomas), and he's got good hands too ... perfect fit for their offense. Whether or not he puts the pipe down is another matter.....

Sorry, dont see Bernard as an every down back....most teams want rbbc anyway
