According to , the 49ers have traded a conditional 2015 4th-round pick to Buffalo for WR Stevie Johnson.
Smitty’s Take: This is one of those great “football” moves that the 49ers are so good at making; however, with Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin already locked into the team’s top two receiver spots, and given that Colin Kaepernick only sprinkled around 3,197 passing yards and 21TDs last year, it’s hard to imagine Stevie having a big fantasy season in 2014. Injuries could reshape that expectation, but for now, this is just a genius “football” move by a team that knows how to secure up impact positions.
