Background

Well, the wait is over; DraftCalc.com officially launched on April 15th, 2012. What is DraftCalc? Well, in a nutshell, it is the brainchild of Smitty, who has been writing and innovating in the fantasy football industry since 2005.

For seven fantasy football seasons, Smitty has landed some of the boldest and most aggressive predictions in the fantasy football business. He pegged Cam Newton, Jimmy Graham and Victor Cruz as three of the biggest breakout candidates heading into 2011; he also predicted the rise of both Arian Foster and LeSean McCoy in 2010. Before that, Smitty landed Ray Rice as his biggest 2009 breakout candidate, and he did the same with both Michael Turner and Maurice Jones-Drew back in 2008 (when both were 4th- and 5th-round picks). The list doesn’t stop there, but we will let DraftCalc testimonials tell the rest of this story:

Testimonials

“Since I’ve been following DraftCalc founder Smitty’s player spotlights and bold predictions, I’ve seen him be way out in front of the industry on guys like Lesean McCoy, Ray Rice, Arian Foster, Cam Newton and Victor Cruz. If you want to land these elite studs before your league mates are even thinking about them, join DraftCalc.com and become part of the DC Nation.”

- JRMRRT, April 2012

More Track Record

In 2011 alone, Smitty took home two different back-to-back expert league championships. Smitty and his group of DraftCalc writers frequent fantasy football radio shows across the country, and Smitty was even asked to provide weekly fantasy content to Youtube via a “FANalyst” fantasy football partnership program back in 2008, and this is where Smitty dropped his insanely-bold predictions about both Michael Turner and Maurice Jones-Drew, calling both top five running backs when average draft positions had both as consistent 4th- and 5th-round draft selections.

DraftCalc is more than just Smitty, it’s a big-time community and a way of life! Just check out the DraftCalc Forums, which in a matter of just days already contains thousands of posts — Again, all of this in just a matter of days! This is the kind of following Smitty and his writers have; become a part of this already-growing community today! Join the forums!
