@Smitty, You have Edelman doing better than my other receivers. Usually I have Megatron & B. Marshall as WR with Cobb as my Flex. With the matchup vs NO, would you rate B Marshall behind Edelman? Also, for RB, I start Forte and either Gio or L Miller, with the 3rd on my bench as I flex a WR. Thoughts on that for this week? It looks like Miller my finally be realized by the coaching staff to be THE back in Miami. I survived using Pierce as my Flex last week, won’t do that again. WTH is the Ravens coaching staff thinking not running the ball at all?

Well, my projections are my projections. Not much I can add to them, but it’s one thing to project a big game out of a player and still sit a guy like Calvin. The chance is still there for Calvin to drop 2TDs, so I wouldn’t sit Calvin or Marshall. Cobb and Edelman is the decision, and you gotta trust your gut. Could Cobb have 100 and 1TD? Sure. Could Edelman? Sure. It’s close man, real close, but you don’t sit Calvin and Marshall. For the RB, again, I point to the projections above for whom I like this week.

Smitty please help. My team is 1-3 i am defending champ , want to turn it around here is my team below . I was offered Doug Martin and Edelman for Calvin Johnson and MJD or Lacy I would get Calvin and the rb. Here is my current team 12 team .5 ppr

    QB Cam
    RB Foster
    RB Martin
    WR Fitz
    WR Edelman or Amendola
    Flex Miller or Bell
    TE Gronk or Cook
Bench – Ball, Givens, Cook, Amendola, Tate etc

If I get Megatron i would have him and fitz and rbs foster and either miller, bell, or mjd as rb2 and the other at flex or amendola at flex. What to do..

Not sure. I think Martin is being sold real low, he is a great buy low right now. Edelman is playing great, and i have him going nuts this week. But, what will happen after Gronk and Dola comeback. Will Dola even stay healthy? Probably not, though.

Calvin is a beast, and MJD has upside, but is failing big time. Lacy could be huge, but will he stay healthy.

Can you get all three? Lacy is the guy for sure if you have to pick just one, but I’m not so sure I make this trade, as Edelman is playing great. Let me get JRMRRT in the mix here, as he his a good judge of Edelman’s value.

If this is a dynasty league Id probably take the Calvin/Lacy side here. I love Edelman this year but I’m not sure he has as much value going past this season. I also think the RB position is loosing value while the WR position is gaining. The entire Bucs organization is a mess right now as well and I don’t know if they right the ship any time soon. I might try to squeeze a pick out of him too since you are giving the young elite RB here. Martin/Edelman/2nd for Calvin/Lacy/1st? Id stay away from MJD though. Very tough choice though because I hate trading away young stud RBs….good luck.

P.S. you are loaded with young RB depth too which makes me want the Calvin side more. Id probably look to combine a couple of those guys for one better player. Secondary move – Lacy/Ball/pick for an upgrade? Something like that.

One other question i traded T Rich my 1st round pick for Spiller straight up. I can keep Spiller in the 6th round next year , we can keep 1 player. I would most likely keep Spiller in 6th , Dez in 3rd, or Harvin in 15th. Do u like that trade ?

I love TRich, so I can’t say I love the deal, but I also can’t say Spiller won’t prove doubters wrong and rebound and have a big year. He is hurt, though, so much of this deal depends on his health, in terms of this year. For the future, I love TRich, despite all the hate right now. I’ve been pretty consistent on this despite the truckloads of people jumping ship. I could be wrong, though, but a guy like Doug Martin would be a great player to buy-low now if you can turn Spiller into him. If not, and if you like Spiller, trust your gut, he could turn it all around. If looking to next year only, he is a steal as a 6th rounder should he rebound, and Dez paired with him, that’s solid. I guess me liking or not liking this deal depends on TRich’s keeper value. Was he a guy that had no rights to keep? If so, then yes, great move. If he was a 6th round keeper or something, it becomes much tougher to say I like it or hate it.

    I have:
WR: Cobb, V Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, Blackmon
RB: Charles, CJ, Lamar Miller, Joique Bell, McGahee

I’m thinking of offering Miller and Blackmon for Torrey Smith.

    Thoughts?

Can you help me understand your projection for Kaep? Houston has shut down all passing attacks this year and has yet to give up more than 200 yards through the air. When you combine that with the conservative game plan the niners are now deploying and the lack of rushing yards it seems Kaep’s in for another disappointing week. I’m thinking about starting Hoyer but I’m not a fan of Thursday night games. Other guys I could start are Alex Smith and Flacco…..nuts to think I’d even be considering those guys!
