RB- Forte, Redman
WR- Welker, Meachem, Randy Moss
QB- Brees, I think he loses his consistency this year. Still a good fantasy QB, just doesn't live up to a 1st/early 2nd draft spot this year.

Good list so far, DC Nation! As much as it pains me to say this, and keep in mind I have written about him as a breakout candidate as well, because he is still a top candidate to unleash this year...

Ryan Mathews

I like him, his situation is great, but for some reason (based mostly off gut and a bit of history) I don't trust him to stay healthy. Of course guys like Darren McFadden, are just as injury-prone, yet I do believe in him, so again, it's mostly gut.

I think Lynch has a good chance to bust. Can't imagine he'll run the same way on Pete Carroll's loose ship now that he's been paid.

I thought there was a world-wide agreement among fantasy owners about Mathews. Like a guy pitching a no-hitter. No one was supposed to say anything, we were just supposed to listen to everything lovely coming out of Norv's mouth, and believe it absolutely ;)

ARIAN FOSTER, the dude is a monster but he has Ben Tate waiting in the wing and the team wants to get him more involved. I see this being a hot hand RBBC this year in Houston. For a RB that in my last 4 drafts has been drafted1.02, 1.02, 1.03, 1.02 that's allot of expectations for a back that has hit his ceiling in my opinion.

Matt Ryan - I've always felt he's a very good NFL QB as far as managing an offense, but something is missing as far as becoming elite and putting up monster numbers. The suppose change in philosophy (more passing) will affect him in a negative way, ATL will be a more balanced team by mid season.
Ray Rice - has averaged over 350 touches over the last 3 years, at that rate any RB will start to slow down, even more so, a stocky 5' 8" Rice. Slowed a ton in last years playoffs (42/127/0... 3 yards per carry) Was that a preview of things to come for Rice?
AJ Green - could very well be the most talented WR in the game behind Calvin, but way too inconsistent to reach elite status in 2012. Over the last 8 games last year, AJ had only 2 TD's and in 4 of those 8 games had under 40 yards. I look for teams to completely blanket this guy and make young Dalton beat them by throwing to his other WR's.
Gronkowski - easy call here. Still not fully recovered from ankle surgery, new offensive coordinator, new WR in Lloyd. I like Gronk to put up solid numbers, but nowhere near what he did in 2011.
