Jacquizz Rodgers - Buy Low

I'm not implying he is a guy to go out and overpay for, but he could present nice value this year in Dynasty.

i have been debating weither to go get him this help thanks know nothing..

It's a good call when you consider Turner is in decline, and there's a better chance than not you can get him at a fairly low cost for the next few months. He's also a guy Turner owners should be looking to invest in.

Rodgers as a backup, yes. But that's where the buck stops IMO.

I like both Quizz and Hunter for the same reasons...Unless they draft another RB like cheche stated.

I definitely like Quizz as a buy low.

well, they won't be drafting a RB in the 1st or 4th year since they gave those up in the Julio Jones trade last year. There are still a decent amount of RBs available in this year's draft, but the Falcons have other positions of need to fill as well with a limited # of picks

I agree they have needs on the other side of the ball so.

OK, so I've been talking up Rodgers since April as a guy to buy, but I certainly didn't expect him to be bumped up to #11 or #15 or whatever in the Dynasty Rankings here...... B-)

Also, didn't the falcons trade up again in the draft to get Quizz or am i thinking of someone else? Regardless, they're making a super bowl run this year and Quizz should factor in heavily. I see him getting no less than 200 total touches. could put up solid RB2 numbers minimum if he can get 5 yards a touch and a few tds

Man, I guess I am the only terd in the punchbowl in regards to JacQuizz. Thought I had the Rotoworld guys with me, but they have reluctantly joined the hype-train as well.

To me, he's pretty slow, his college tape is mostly unimpressive (he was a fifth-round pick, after all), he didn't do much at all last year when given opportunities, he hasn't done much this preseason...I agree that the offense suits his abilities more than they do Turner's, but only because they are constantly going to be throwing and Quizz fits the profile of a third-down back. He reminds me of Brandon Jackson, of whom Mike McCarthy said "Brandon Jackson to me is an every-down back."

Personally, I'd rather have Kendall Hunter (5.78 ypc this preseason) or Jonathan Dwyer (5.9 ypc this preseason). JacQuizz to me is a flex at best. Poor man's Sproles, and I think the measureables and the eye test bear that out.

Thing is...for what they are going to use him for, he doesn't need to have top end speed....the ball isn't going to get into his hands by way of hand-off. It is going to get in his hands by the pass/screen passes. You site his poor YPC which was 3.6 on 57 attempts, but how about his yards per reception which was 9.0 on 21 receptions. He's going to line up against LB's most of the time with how much I believe Atlanta is going to throw the ball with the speed offense they are running.

Don't get me wrong...there is a lot of reasons to doubt him. In fact, he may end up becoming nothing more than a side note. But for his ADP being in the 10th round...he has value.

Yeah, I think he can be a flex. I could see 6-7 carries a game for 25-30 yards and 3-4 catches for 30-40. 10 or so fantasy ppg. I think his ADP is just about right, with a little room for upside if Turner goes down and Snelling doesn't recover well from his 'lower leg injury'

Plus...he is a GREAT trade piece for if (when?) Turner goes down.
