I guess getting the ball anywhere near the GL makes you especially skilled.. guy literally runs INTO blocks.

Reminds me of Shonn Greene.
Analysis: Thomas was badly outplayed by Lamar Miller for the second week in a row. Thomas was given a carry on third-and-inches on the Dolphins' opening drive -- one in which Miller was gashing the New Orleans defense -- and ended up losing two yards on the play, forcing the Dolphins to settle for a field goal. Thomas also couldn't cash in on a goal-line look later in the contest. Miller scored from five yards away earlier in the game. Miller is head-and-shoulders above Thomas in all aspects of the position, and he should take over clear lead-back duties sooner rather than later. Thomas is on pace to rush for 264 yards and eight touchdowns on 100 carries (2.64 YPC). He's safe to drop.
Hopefully Philbin is not too stubborn here and realizes that Miller as far superior to Thomas. The rest of the world sees it.

He's not gashing like he did in college. Seems like he has a confidence issue. He's questioning himself. And when there's nothing there, he's clearly hesitating. There's a difference between patience (A.Foster) and indecision (what I saw last night with Miller). I think he needs to trust his instincts, trust that he is one of - if not the - best athletes on the field, and run that ball with confidence and authority. I did like what I saw from him as far as not going down on first contact. He's got some power on that little frame. The more touches he gets, the better he'll get, and I still think he can end up being a top 10 RB this year. It's amazing how much he and D.Wilson are alike.

I'm doubting that. Neither came in for each other last night. They alternated series so all Miller needed to do is play well when it was his turn.
