Or will it lol He dominates with a rotation of two trashers and one actually pretty solid passer in Hoyer.

I'd take McCoy and Charles at this point.
Gordon is a STUD no doubt about it, but I can't help but to wonder if his numbers are so high because he's essentially all they have. They have Cameron, but that's about it. I think it's possible that if CLE becomes a better team overall with a running game and other receiving options, that his numbers will go down some. Not that I don't think he'll be top 5 going forward, but he's been on a historical run this season. It's kind of hard to just assume this will be the norm for him. I haven't researched it yet, but I'd guess that no WR EVER has put up better numbers over a 4 game stretch. Gordon's on pace for 1700-1800yds while only playing 14 games.

That's actually kind of what I meant about the new qb too..this may not happen, but I feel like better qbs (take Russell Wilson for example) don't force the ball into their studs. They take what they have and put the ball on the money.
ump said:I'm conservative. I put Gordon in the top 15 (roughly top 5 WR), but I hesitate to put him in my top 10 for next year. Charles, McCoy, and AP are in my top 3 in whatever order. Calvin is probably next. Lynch and Forte are likely next. Graham is up there. I also take the track record of Dez, AJ Green, and Marshall slightly over Gordon (better track record, lower risk).
branch0095 said:The thing with Gordon is, do we really feel there's any upside left with him? Are we expecting him to improve to 2k+ in yardage. Realistically this will probably go down as his most productive season ever, and his price reflects that. When players ascend to this kind of value, I pretty much write them off if I don't own them. I'd rather look to the next player to break out.

Excellent points again Branch. With that said would you trade Gordon for say Julio, Dez or AJG? Straight up.

I'd take AJG over Gordon with no hesitation. With Dez/Julio it's much closer, due to Julio's injuries and the fact that Dez disappears too much and is too inconsistent. I think the way Julio started this season is something we can't ignore. This was his 1st chance to be the true #1 target in ATL and he excelled. I think if Julio had stayed healthy I would have him at #2 behind Calvin. Honestly, the only one I'd consider taking Gordon over is Dez, and even then it would be tough. It would be one of those situations that whether I owned Gordon or Dez, I wouldn't have any reason to trade for the other unless I was getting something extra in return.

Yeah, that's rough. Trade one and move your draft picks up like mad!
