Haimez has been talking about Bortles and teams/scouts sleeping on him, which they were. Looks like they're coming around. I've seen a couple mocks with Bortles as the #2 QB now. I was hoping he would keep some of that sleeper status, but it was bound to happen.

Can't wait to start and finish some of the rookie stuff I have in store for the 2/1/14 launch... keep up the good scouting, fellas!
We can't wait either! Really looking forward to the new launch.

Kid is a stud. Could be instant QB1 in Texans uni with Andre and Hopkins and new coach who doesn't run when down 21 points. ;)
you got to remember too a lot of the experts are going off what teams tell them and that helps them look good when they get taken by said team. A guy might fake like he likes some guy just to look like he agrees with the teams pick in a shocking move type thing, prime example is Christian Ponder. Like last year everybody hyped up Geno till the actual draft. I knew my gut told me Glennon was the top QB of the class. I think he showed well this year also. I will be honest even though he was injury bit, Manuel did look better than I was expecting. Kind of got lucky there. Basically teams are hip now to this whole draft reporting thing and lies are getting mixed in with big names to beef up players in front they have no interest in.
I don't trust Adam Schefter and neither should you!!!

Big day today!!! Not only do people find out Bortles should be the first pick, but they find out McCarens girl isn't the hottest(arguably). Suck on that Musburger!!! Being serious though with OBrien at headcoach I almost think this is a slam dunk now. I doubt Texans draft another Carr at #1.

I havent watched many baylor games at all this year...also looking forward to seeing Seastrunk ( have him in a devy league)... you think bortles will go ahead of Bridgewater to the Texans?... lots of time obviously, and I think the combine will factor in a bit with these guys... Bridgewater is just super hyped right now

I like Bortles but really think the hype train may be a bit out of control with him at the moment. But yeah, the Texans would be an ideal landing spot for any QB, and he could certainly do well there....

I do know I've mentioned Storm Johnson as a sleeper candidate at RB awhile back though ;) . If he declares of course..

I was not that impressed with Bortles..... I felt like he was just asked to throw short routes and let his receivers do the rest and lob up long passes and hoped his receivers would make a play. If we are going off his play making abilities, I would still say Hundley and Manizel are more impressive. Maybe I'm just being too harsh after one game since its the only game I've watched of him.
