For what it's worth... this is on CBS where I own Lynch

    by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(02/04/14) Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch "has been telling teammates all season he'll retire if they win the Super Bowl," according to a report on SI.com. The report adds, however, that cornerback Richard Sherman "doesn't believe him."
During his brief time with reporters following the Super Bowl, Lynch was not asked to address his future. Lynch, who turns 28 in April, called the Super Bowl victory a "dream come true."

I haven't heard this from a reliable source but a friend told me the cops messed up the evidence or messed up the bac so the trial won't convict him of guilty..did anyone else hear this? Or am I hearing things....

I saw something somewhere that Lynch's lawyer had gotten a hold of conflicting police reports.

So that could get case thrown out potentially.... Couldn't it?

Possibly, we'll see. I am surprised by the number and length of postponements. Lynch's lawyer seems to be doing a fine job.

I don't believe that Lynch will retire.  SEA has a good shot to repeat next year and Lynch isn't gonna pass that opportunity up.

Id be pissed after I just gave up Turbin and Michael to Luke, but I dont believe it. Not when he has an opportunity to win more titles.

Just traded miller for lynch. would also be pissed.  Last year in a redraft I traded marshall straight up for julio and it went through the night after he got hurt(before the injury was reported).  worst feeling ever.

Seattle seems to have a mini dynasty going on. Would be hard for Lynch to walk away from that.

Though he is 28, has close to 2000 career touches, runs pretty hard, and maybe he wants to be able to walk when he's 46 years old.

He has made enough money for sure. He got through his rookie contract and had a 6 mil signing bonus when he resigned with Seattle. While he hasn't made as much as a player of his caliber and impact should have, it's still enough to live on. He's signed with Seattle till he's 30 and has no leverage to hold out. He's not going to get a big contract at 30 anywhere. He's effectively in the twilight of his career.

We also learned he hates the media and the spotlight.

I don't know his thought process, but I could see him walking away. Maybe he plays one more year, who knows. Maybe he knows his case is an issue and wants to go out on top, not being remembered as someone who served a 8 game suspension. Idk

Wow, I really wish I could sell this guy. I can't get anything close to proper value for him. If reports like this keep popping up, I'll take the ridiculously low 1.12 that was offered to me and move on.
    2013 predictions

    -Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
-Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs

I was felt okay last week when I traded him and Luck for Stafford and Spiller...after reading this thread I am feeling really good, plus the guy didn't even want Turbin and Micheal in the deal!

I'm with you on this one Troy, a lot guys don't even know about his case as it was push back from last year! To me he's a sell high before it hits the fan!

Haha.  I got sued once for work and it was 4 years before it even went to arbitration.  And they were only seeking like 10 grand.  We (my company) spent about 150K in lawyers fees to defend it lol

Yeah if your company wouldn't have fought that, everybody would have been suing you guys.
