Looks like that article is from last year and so has my report, but it's hard to imagine her doing more nude scenes, is it? There's been a couple actresses that have refused to do nude scenes for this show, right?

has there been? It seems there more than ever as the series goes on. To bad the wife can't be like, oh what it must have been like in those days?

Yes, some of them have refused to even go topless:

How was it? Can anyone get into it or just people with an acquired taste?

lol , having my wife talking about her mother watching it you would have thought that's what she was watching and not to mention the questions she has coming out of those shows. Talk about a generation gap!

Nah it was good from the start. It's only an 8 episode season. Harrelson and Mr Alright Alright Alright are fun to watch. Just a couple of detectives trying to solve a crime. It's well written and directed and rural Louisiana is a fresh setting.

@smitty now here me out on who and how King Jeffery died. ( Deep thoughts by Swampies ) Do you remember the necklace that was given to the Stark girl by the Joker? She wore the necklace at the dinner table and the queens mother came over and played with her hair and then her necklace. You'll see after she left that there is a Jewel missing from the necklace, now I think that was what poisoned King Jeffery! Some how she handed that to her daughter so she would be able to slip that into his drink or pie. I think this because why would the joker out of the blue come up to the Stark girl saying if you want to live come with me now! Or I'm I nuts to think this? Thoughts?

Yeah, something like that happened. What I can't wait to find out (no one spoil it if you know) is who steps up to rule.

Here is the question I ask myself... I think the the little girl (Arya) with the sword "needle" is a survivor beyond everyone else. Somehow she lives through it all I predict. She is the toughest mentally.

Ah... I was introduced to the books like 7-8 years ago. They're fantastic BTW. Far better than the show IMO...

Also they aren't the exact story you are watching... At the red wedding for example rob's wife isn't there (which was moronic BTW) thus creating another "Stark" bloodline to rule winterfell possibly in the future... People are in the "wrong" places, events happen out of order, some people didn't even exist as far as I can remember (the red headed hooker from winterfell, Ros I think)... It's a very good rendition none the less...

P.S. I didn't expect where they go with the Arya storyline... :P

No I haven't read it either and agree with Smitty that its more fun not knowing. I heard they though mixing up the writing like the walking dead has done to keep those who have read the book interested to keep watching. @smitty i agree that Arya is the same one I have to be the ruler at the end thinking she'll marry the black smith boy maybe.

Not the most action packed show, but I usually find myself just wanting more, not necessarily complaining. GOT can't go wrong in my book, slower episodes or not.

From what I understand (no HBO) you guys are approaching the end of the third / beginning of the fourth book.

Book four was odd. Martin only focused on about half the characters (while book 5 was the other half during the same time period). I believe the plan was to mash both books together for seasons 4 & 5 (& possibly 6 as both books were 1500+ pages). While there is "action" in both books there is also a TON of plotting, character development & "rearranging of the chess pieces". This may create some "slow" episodes in the show but if they stick close to the books like they have so far it should turn out pretty well...

As I've only seen the first three seasons. Just my $0.02...
