NFL Draft: Drafted QBs (after landing spots)

    Texans should go Carr here. I think they will. Hopefully he works out better than big bro did. :) I bet they'll spend the whole night thinking, "Jimmy or Derek? Derek or Jimmy?" though, lol. I don't envy them.

    Carr is overrated. Garopolo has nervous feet (Blaine Gabbert pt 2). And no other QB is worth considering this early in the 2d. I hope Houston sticks to their board, grabs a talented player at another position and takes a shot on a guy like Murray in the 3rd. O'Brien is a QB guru, so I'm not sure he needs to spend a 2d on a qb. Worst case scenario, they stink it up in 2014 and grab a QB next year in what may be a better QB draft.

    Geno 2.0 or not Bridgewater has a much better core around him to help him out off the bat.

    Screens & quick slants to CP, Jennings on the other side, AP doing AP things, Rudolph as a safety valve & Norv calling the shots...

    Compare that to: Jeremy Kerley, David Nelson, Bilal Powell, Kellen Winslow & Marty Mornhinweg... Honestly is it any wonder Geno struggled???

    He should be fine. That being said I'm not sold on ANY QB in this class...

    I don't think HOU can select Carr b/c of the history with his Brother. It's not right, but it is reality.

    I would love to see HOU trade for Cousins. HOU is fielding a ton of inquiries for the pick today....I hear there are a handful of teams trying to slide into the #33 pick for M Lee. Should be VERY interesting.

    Is it week 1 yet?!

    Yea, I would love it if they got Cousins, although I am hearing Washington wants a 2nd round pick.  Which they won't get imo.

    I just viewed Adams tape vs USC with Carr throwing him the ball, I came away very unimpressed with both players.  Adams got some nice separation at times, but Carr was locking onto his initial read, overthrowing the WR, or getting Adams killed by a catchable overthrown pass

    Carr to Oakland
    My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
    QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
    RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
    WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
    TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

    (I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

    Yes SF RBs a mess. Has been wonderful with Gore and likely Hunter, Lattimore or Hyde will do fine ... but which one? Hyde still late 1st FF rookie draft pick?

    Mettenburger had that terrible injury plus he diluted his drug test. Don't see anyone taking a chance on him. It's either mcarron, savage, Murray, or Logan Thomas
