    I think hyde going anything but late 1st is crazy...at 1.4 is insane.

    I have to disagree here. Theyre all rookies with no NFL experience with equal bust potential. If you have Hyde in the top 4 based on talent then I dont have a problem taking him and sticking to your board and gut. I agree that you should try to get value if you can but its not always that easy because guys fall in love with their rookies. If Hyde falls to someone at 7 they might love that value and might have had Hyde #4 on their board too. I say just take the guy you like best.

    Ultimately this. I would take both Cooks and Matthews before Hyde, but if you have Hyde higher in YOUR board then go get him.

    @bddavidson, you think he's a perennial top 10rb 2015 and on?

    I think he stands a better chance at top 10 than cook imho..cooks equals d jax at best.

    And mathews wasnt in the equation i like both hyde and mathews over cook

    I love Hyde...and I love Cooks.

    I completely disagree with this assessment though, I believe Cooks is MUCH more versatile than DeSean Jackson.

    This is pure gold!

    While it is nice to maximize value, always go with YOUR value...don't take a guy you like less and watch the guy you like more go a couple picks later because you were informed it was the better pick there....

    I have brought up the example of guy going Lacy 1.01 in our rookie draft last year, even with all the hype building against him he stuck to his guns...I think he is happy with his decision...well he just traded Lacy for 2 1sts a 2nd and a 3rd....

    My personal take: SF is a great landing spot. Think they took a RB in the second JUST because he was the BPA? Hyde runs very well with agility and power. Hyde is this years Lacy, not that he will duplicate his stats, but in that people seem to forget how good he was expected to be coming into last year, and how good he continued to be and look the whole year.

    Cooks I fully believe is what tavon Austin was expected to be....and he went 1.01 in a LOT of leagues last year. I still think tavon is gonig to be dynamic, but Cooks will be as well, and he is a little more solid and has a WAY better QB.

    Cooks' floor is so HIGH and I think his Ceilngi is as well.

    I go Cooks by a little, but wouldn't blame anyone for going Hyde here.
