Opportunity beats out talent in this case for me. Give me Freeman

If they're already saying Stacy could lose his job and its June, that means they've already seen greatness in Mason. His stock dropped because of injury not talent. Rams got themselves a gem. Give me the Ram.

Freeman - having Matty Ice with Julio and Roddy will keep defenses from putting 8 in the box.  Not so much in St Louis.

You have no faith in Chris Givens and Kenny Britt? lol

this plus S Jax is old and brittle. Atlanta doesn't see JQuizz as the guy so if SJax goes down Freeman will be in for a ton of work imo.

This. I think Freeman may be in a better situation, but Mason is much more talented to me

Similar to TEN I can see them drafting a power back next yr as well, but STL already has one in Stacy

Neither are good enough to replace Stacy or the new drafted back in Atlanta next year - Stacy at minimum will be timeshare, Freeman will be timeshare this year, and next when they draft a thumper.

You say this so matter of factly like you already can see the future. Stacy is not elite...he is replaceable. Not saying he will be but its not outside the realm of possibility. And any rookie RB has a chance to be great. No one thought Ray Rice or Jamaal Charles could or would be capable of being feature backs either. Not many people at all thought they were the future of their franchise which is why they were 2nd round dynasty rookie picks in their drafts while the "thumpers" like Mendy and J Stew were top 3 picks.

I picked up Mason in an early draft but I have been trying to get Freeman in my latest drafts. Like the situation and the talent.

I went with Mason for now, but I think both will be valuable in the near future.

I'll take Freeman.  Playing against SF, Seattle and Arizona defenses 6 times per year tilts the scale.
