Lynch has been a hot topic this off season. And although I do agree that Lynch may only have two more solid seasons left max, I feel like this year(2014) he will have a MONSTER year and do whatever it takes to lead the league in rushing. Why? He's hungry for one more big pay day... It probably won't be with SEA in 2015(CMichael) , but a team like NE, who's known for bringing in stud RB's in the twilight of their careers could offer him a very nice 1 year deal. That should be enough for Lynch to leave it all out on the field for 2014.

So if you're a Lynch owner, instead of shopping him and settling for less than value, build around him for a championship run in 2014!

Could be right, but I'd advise Lynch owners to do everything they can to get Michael. As I said in the comments of the last Lynch News Wire post, I keep hearing "he can't be had" etc, etc, but as I said in that topic, you can't go get him one for one in many cases. Who would trade him away in the middle of all this news? You need to distract and throw him into a bigger deal, a deal you like of course.

For example, I laugh at anyone coming to get Michael alone. I don't even consider offers, even before I read them. But, one offer was where i had a borderline WR1 and was offered Calvin if I include Michael. I didn't do it, but i all of the sudden started thinking, man, my line up this year!!!! That's how you try, not always successfully, to steal Michael away. Feed the owner's need to win now in a bigger deal.

Yeah, this could work in the right situation. The problem with this theory is that you're giving up much more valuable players to acquire Michael. Am I willing to downgrade my studs in order to get Michael on my roster? Nope. Some people would be ok with that. Not me though.

I think that unless the Michael owner is living under a rock, you're going to pay through the nose to get Michael, one way or another. You're probably going to pay a bit less for Michael himself in a package deal, but then you're moving much more valuable pieces to make it happen.

I owned Lynch in one league and ended up trading him to the Michael owner.

Troy has a vice grip on CMichael in this DLeague... And I'm not willing to overpay for a player who's unproven in Michael. I'd rather bank on my 3, 1st round picks in 2015; in which 2 of the 3 picks are virtual locks to be top 3 picks. 2015 is stacked at RB.

Had someone traded with you, would this post still be about lynch, or the player u traded for?

Hey, he is adapting like he said, vs selling low. Lynch will beast it up per start.. Michael owners are just hoping it's a lot of missed games (and will he be suspended)?

Did you say Lynch in NE? Never gave it a thought til now, but I must say that makes as giddy as a school girl. I assumed we'd draft a thumper next yr with Ridley gone. James white should take over Vereen's role. I definitely think they'd be interested, but their style is to wait on RB FA's and sign the bargain basement guys.

Oh I was def trying to trade him... Came close to trading him in a deal for Harvin. But with a little advise from the DC Nation, I decided to ride him in 2014.

When I read this, I was like that sounds like something I'd write. LOL  That Harvin deal wouldn't have been bad either, we say this now because Lynch has verbally had one of the worse off seasons I can remember. I would trade him to any contender for youth. But that door is a narrow one right now. His value will increase when he crosses that goal line week 1.

Does no one think Tutbin has a chance to start once Lynch is gone?

I think Turbin has a chance to turn it into a nasty RBBC that people will want to avoid. Thats my fear. I think Michael people are overlooking Turbins ability way too much. Theres a little tunnel vision happening there.

I personally don't think Turbine has ability.. Never owned him nor have I wanted to. I just don't see the it factor with him.

Will he take some carries? Sure.. But nothing more then the average backup rb gets IMO.

+1 Turbin is so slouch and is being overlooked big time.

Turbin has almost identical measurables to Michael and both are very young.

Measurables yes, but I for one don't go off those much. I just personally haven't been in awe of anything Turbin has done, granted some games he only gets a few carries and it's hard to get going but I just haven't seen anything to be impressed with. Sure you can easily say the same for Michael but I was high on him coming out of college so I guess I'm biased.

I don't like Turbin at all either.  I was big on him coming out, but I haven't seen anything from him that made me want to have him on any of my teams.

Im not really disagreeing with you. Im not saying that Turbin will win the job and be a stud. Just that there is definitely a good possibility given the age and strengths of the 2 backs and how similar they are that it becomes an ugly RBBC. Even if its for nothing less that to keep the 2 RBs fresh.

Oh it's completely possible, and people do need to think of that when acquiring him. luckily for me I got hmi for 3rd round picks last year so I'm ok with it as I have nothing invested. That said I just think Michael will run away with the job leaving Turbin for 4-6 touches a game. I could be completely wrong, but in my case I have little invested in him so I'll deal with it.

Sure I could trade CM away now for kings ransom. But I'm one of those guys that would rather keep a guy that could be top 5 and let him bust on my roster rather then trade him away and have him be top 5 for the next 5 years.
