OK, who wants to test our Player Trade Calc?

Only test out the "Dynasty" versions of the Trade Calc...

This will only be available as a sneak peek for a few minutes to an hour...
Please comment below if you end up testing the tool and let us know how you like it!
Also, if any players are missing or appear off value-wise, please let us know.

Interesting. I tested a trade that TBL just posted

First thing I notice that may be a little difficult is that the players are listed by what appears to be their position rank. Alphabetical might be easier

But, it will be awesome by the time you are done

Thanks for testing. Well, I've toyed with both, alphabetical and by rough rank, and both have their advantages, I agree.

Sorry to those that missed a chance to sneak peek the tool, but I may run another couple tests tomorrow or FRI. I'll try to run one during the day :)

To be honest, I am not sure anymore. It was about 2:00 AM and I am not sure that I read it correctly. The one thing I remember, was it assigned some percentage to the deal. At FFX it would give text comments as to how it liked the deal

I hope its better than FFX trade calc.. you could off 3 no name guys for CJ and it would say trade CJ lol

Foster+Manningham>Lynch+Julio by 1%

Forte+VJax>Cam+ Mark Ingrasm by 16%

Stafford and Lesean> Rodgers and Lamichael James by 50%

Lesean and AJG>Forte and Megatron by 2.5%

I really like the percentages and my initial tests show you're close to spot on. I threw in the horrible Rodgers trade just to see how it reacted. Everything looks surprisingly accurate (I can't imagine how hard it is to program this, so good job)

Yeah, I'm pretty satisfied and amazed at how well the calculations work with percentages. Props Smitty. Yet another great product.

I really like the percentages of how far apart the trades are. Nice tool!

looking pretty cool....the real trick will be 2 for 1 trades.....you gonna be able to pull that one off? .;...or 3 for 2? or players and picks?

I know, Im getting way ahead of things but just wondering if thats even possible

LeSean McCoy (RB) & SELECT PLAYER

are better than

DeMarco Murray (RB) & Kenny Britt (WR) by 3 percent

2 for 1's Looks pretty good to me:)

Aaron Rodgers (QB) & SELECT PLAYER

are better than

Cam Newton (QB) & SELECT
PLAYER by 12 percent

Cam Newton (QB) & Antonio Gates (TE)

are better than

Aaron Rodgers (QB) & SELECT
PLAYER by 17 percent

this is very cool

You can plug in 2-for1 trades but know you are forced to have a zero % at one spot, but that is how a 2-for-1 works, so it really does make sense that you can tip the scales if you want... you may tip a scale and the calc wont take into account that the player you are tossing in is waiver material or anything like that, though...

There will be:

1. Redraft 1-for-1
2. Redraft 2-for-2
3. Dynasty 1-for-1
4. Dynasty 2-for-2

No plans for 3 or 4 or more at this time... Just those for 2012...
