I was reading where the.Colts might have taken Leaf but he blew off the interview.so they went with Peyton...

I remember reading about how the Colts were split internally on Manning and Leaf. Thank goodness they made the right choice, or maybe Leaf made them make the right choice. I can't imagine where that team and franchise would be if they had taken Leaf - probably in Los Angeles.

I think there was something about Manning telling the Colts management that if they don't draft him he will beat them for years to come or something like that.

(TheHuddle) Former NFL WR Charles Rogers threatened to kill his mother if she didn't give back $100,000, according to a police report. The report says that Rogers and his uncle Ronie Rogers made a malicious phone call to Cathy Rogers and conspired to threaten her. Rogers surrendered to authorities last week on two misdemeanor charges. Analysis: Sounds like May 13 might be a little awkward around the Rogers household.

Sometimes, at the top of the draft, teams decide to hit the "desperate" button, and fail to address some of the telling signs of a potential bad apple....happens almost every year.

What ever happened to Lawrence Phillips? I guess his girlfriends have figured out to stay away from the stairs.
