  12 team league

  I already have Tony Romo and Andy Dalton, but Josh Freeman is available in the waiver wire, should I pick him up and then try to deal him?

  Most likely, if there is a team that is willing to trade for Freeman, they would have picked him up off of waivers already.  I find it hard to trade QBs in most leagues.  There are too many startable players, that no one is willing to pay for an upgrade.

  I'd pick him up anyway...not so sure he won't be your starter in two weeks.

  I would go one step further and drop Romo for him.

  Funny you ask this question. After making a package deal where I moved Rodgers and got Foster I'm now in your identical spot. I had Dalton, and got Romo back in the deal. I picked Freeman up off waivers, and will be starting him this week. He's statisticly a top ten QB at this moment and has been on fire the past few weeks. I don't trust Romo, and Dalton has plenty of turnovers as well. Out of the 3 Freeman has the best matchup this week as well.

  As tmoney said, trading QBs for any real value in return is pretty difficult to do. My team hasn't been great and had been shopping Rodgers for a while with no takers.The stars aligned and the Foster owner is set to make a championship run, and was missing a QB and riddled with injuries at WR. He was really deep a RB too. And even still I had to send Roddy and Rashad Jennings with Rodgers.
