Site Redesign Update

Logo/Thank You:

Ok everyone... I first want to say thank you to all who participated in the logo decision-making, colors, etc. And yes, not in surprising fashion, I went with an underdog sleeper of the logos (of the logos that I presented). Like AJ Green and Dez Bryant, I think the logo will grow on you (if you were one of the folks more fond of another logo I presented)... they are all some sort of variation of the other, so the logo that was decided on (top of the site ^^^ ) is just a variation of all the logos shared.

The Rest of the Site:

Ok, so by now, you have probably noticed that the entire site has been touched up to match the new logo, and I have to say, I'm extremely pleased. I feel like our facelift will vault DC to the spotlight this upcoming season. We had a HUGE FIRST YEAR, thanks to all of you. From JRMRRT to Mile_High_Man, to X, Ballgame, Wutthecrapman, BDDavidson, Whos_Ur_Doggie, Buckys, TBL, RabidBucFan, Fontaines, Luke, the list goes on and on, I am sorry if I had to stop listing names, but all of you rock and make this forum/site the place to be. Without you guys, there is no site.

Now that we are 1,500+ strong, spread the word (as painful as that is) and let's make 2013 10x bigger than 2012!

Hope you like the new site/colors, please leave comments below regarding those changes/enhancements.

Thanks! The homepage has some new twists, like the Article filtering links, which will load up soon for those other categories. WE had this earlier in the off-season, but I went away from the different categories. Well, I'm heading back to that style, but not for single write ups on one player, articles will have more than one player in them this time.

I love this family, the season end is looming soon I'm glad I get to spend the off season with a great cast on an always improving site.

I'll admit, when you previewed the color changes on the forums, I thought it looked a little off. However, I really like the colors for the main page.

Job well done Smitty!! The new look and feel makes this site even better, as if it could get any better than it already was. Thanks for keeping it fresh and enjoyable here at the DC Nation.

Thanks, ump! That's why I kinda of went the "sleeper" route with the logo. I knew it would all mesh well once the entire site colors were revamped.

I too really like and appreciate this site and ALL the people here!

I was a member on another site and the people on the forums there were often condescending and rude, especially if you're a person that didnt have as many posts as others. Somehow, more posts were equated to more knowledge or intelligence. Got tired of seeing and "hearing" that...

Anyways, I never have seen or experienced that here...only helpful, friendly other people who also love fantasy football!

Also, to Smitty.......THANKS! Been following you for years over at the other site and love the new one as well! Your willingness and promptness to provide personalized answers to questions is SO appreciated!

Thanks too, to all the other regular, constant contributors for helping Smitty to make this an ever growing and improving site.

Great job Smitty! Sorry i missed all the voting, I was out of commission for 3 days with an illness (better now). I even missed my amazing MNF comeback win in the first round of playoffs thanks to Ridley and Hernandez vs Welker. But i love the new look and lets keep the forums rocking!

I think this site could have a brown background with puke green font and still take the fantasy football world by storm. You and the DC staff never cease to amaze me. As always, keep up the amazing work!!!

Ever since you started hinting about about the new design I've been really looking forward to seeing what you had up your sleeve. Since the launch, I have to say I've been very pleased with the new DC look, logo, colors and some things that have been resigned. This place looks great! A very positive step in showing the world DC is a force to be reckoned with in the Fantasy community. Great content and a exciting new design! Congrats Smitty on a job well done!
