  who is the wr in jacksonville to own moving forward? i know it is Jacksonville but short has put up great numbers but Blackmon seems to be having a nice end to his rookie campaign. i own both in a dynasty i didnt make the playoffs but i drafted startup this year and went very young. so Nation which one would you keep?trying to decide what to do with them as trades start backup next week.

  Shorts is a good WR3 but Blackmon shown he can deliver a 200+ game, he's only a rookie and will get better. I like his pedigree.

  IMO this is similar to the Dez, Austin situation in DAL. While Dez was developing he could have good games then disappear in others. While that was happening, Austin was the better consistent producer. As Dez has matured and developed into a WR1, Austin's numbers are and opportunities are starting to go down. This is kind of a generic comparison given DAL and JAC are such different situations. My point is, I like Shorts for the next year maybe two, but if Blackmon develops like he should, he has the higher ceiling. The keyword with Blackmon there is "if". Right now, dynasty or redraft Id take Shorts.

  That's why I said it was a generic comparison and 2 different situations. The point was Austin was the solid steady producer while the young Dez with better pedigree and more upside developed. Unlike Austin, Shorts is still young himself, but I feel Blackmon has the better pedigree and more upside. Also more of a risk IMO.

  In a heartbeat. Why? You know he'll still be in the Colts offense for some years to come. He clicks with Luck (which is huge) and you flat out have a future HOF QB throwing to you. The only question is who the Colts get to replace Wayne. If Bowe comes in, Hilton takes a hit.
